But Twilight......... OMG I can't even begin to put into words (i'm no author) how much the twilight Saga has taken over my life i'm totally addicted and cant get through a whole day without reading some of the book / watching the movie / listening to the soundtrack and (of course) checking this awesome site for breaking news on New Moon.
It goes without saying that the NM is the most anticipated "sneak peak" of the MTV awards as we have to wait longer to see the movie and haven't already had officially released clips............the Twilight Saga fan-base is no doubt the most hard-core and fanatical and i'm proud to be a 27 (soon to be 28) year old member!
I am proud to be a 25 year old member of the Twilight Saga Fan Club!!! =)
I resisted Twilight forever and I still gave in! Stephenie Meyer has, like, a vampire power! She can't see the future or read our minds but she can write a sentence and 50 million people remain transfixed!
I'm an unashamed 28yo fan!!! I have the soundtrack on in my car so I can listen to it everyday.. it just never gets old, and I read parts of the books almost everynight, and watch the movie whenever I can nab the telly. I'm addicted to this site too it's totally brilliant!! I love seeing all the breaking news and catching up on what everyone is chatting about everyday.
It's great to be able to chat with others who share the same addiction/obsession!!!
i love both of the book series & equally cant wait for either
of them. im exited to see both of the clips at the awards,
so for me its like bonus, i get to see 2 clips.
I want both.....right now :)

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing all 3 movies, but as we haven't seen a trailer or anything for New Moon yet, of course the footage from that movie is going to be more highly anticipated than the others which are both opening quite soon.

I'm a 33-year old mom of three. I love the Twilight saga especially Breaking Dawn. I have seen Twilight over and over. I have the soundtrack and the score playing in my car most of the time. My husband understands (hey, this is my only "vice"). So here's my vent...
I was at Borders buying some magazines while talking to my girlfriend on the cellphone, and she asked me about the New Moon book which she has not read yet. I told her that it's pretty good too and that I recommend for her to read it (she has read only Twilight). Minding my own business of picking up some magazines while talking to my girlfriend, I noticed two ladies standing behind me who just started laughing all of a sudden. Then someone said "sshhh.... she might hear... ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE MOMS..." I froze, neatly placed the two travel magazines I was holding back in the rack, told my girlfriend that something came up and I would call her back, then shifted my body slowly to face the two ladies who just shot themselves in the foot. Long story short, I let them have it with some straight yet gracious talk from my mouth. And an applause from some of the customers who I did not notice were listening to what I said. I simply told them to F__K OFF!!!!!!

I'm finishing up graduate school, and a couple of my friends have written their thesis' on "How Frankenstein relates to today's society" (I cannot give the exact title, as they are being published soon)- and one of my friends is writing her thesis on the eternal appeal of love, sex, and vampires/werewolves- a timeless tale. It's good stuff!!
So, I speak on behalf of 22-25 yr. old's who love the Twilight series, and are even doing analytical research on why it is such an awesome story! :0)

Although I think the studio will be pretty confident of collecting some awards for Twilight so maybe they will go. I do not want to miss Rob and Kristen on stage to collect "best kiss". The stupid thing won't be shown in the UK until 9pm gmt on the Monday, so by then I'll already know who won what. Still set the Sky+ though.

i LOVE both series and they are completely different, like there's no comparison between them
lol, the tweens are much more excited about the twilight series than harry potter
its just a totally different generation, and a totally more relatable story
which is why the moms love twilight as well.

between transformers and new moon the agreement was that new moon will make the most money in the first week and tranformers will make the most overall.
as for the mtv movie awards, i think the most anticipated sneak peek will definatly be new moon. we have seen no official videos for it!! but with tranformers they're have been sneak peeks and actual trailers already.
And not to mention the fact that Twilight is going to take out majority of the awards their nominated for as well, that parts a no brainer....

A love story will always own silly little magic stories.
I like HP, yet I don't like it. I guess what I mean to say is that it's OK. I think it's not nearly as good as Twilight :) And although Transformers is one of my favrite movies, New Moon is my priority.
And yes, I do live for Twilight. Twilight is the only thing that can get me up in the morning and through a dreadful day. If I hadn't read Twilight, I wouldn't know what my life would be like right now. It'll probably be boring and pointless. Thank you so much Stephenie for writing these amazing and creating the most gorgeous vampire, ever!

Until I see the official trailer for New Moon....at the moment Transformers does look the best. For now. However, they are two completely different movies.

Reminds me of how I will be when Sir Sex On Legs appears during New Moon. I'm guessing the clip for New Moon will probably be Bella/Edward. Maybe the birthday party. I can't imagine the CGI for the wolves being finished.

I do not watch the movie. Apart from KS, RP, TL, and the Cullens the movie sucks. I am sorry! I know a lot of you guys loved it, but I HATED the script. Our perfect little book was butchered. But, I do not get the same 'what are they doing?!' feeling about New Moon. I think Weiz is doing a fantastic job!
