That letter was so increadibly touching! That girl isn't being just like: "Rob I love you and i want to marry yoooouu!!" No, she just wants to thank him for his autograph! :')

I hope she knows that GOD is great and can do miracles... I believe so and I have nothing but love and respect for this girl and Im SO happy that my blondie is going to help her out and pass this on to my sweetie pie, who, by that note in MS. Ms's NM book, only proves MORE than ever, what a great, sweet, caring and wonderful person that Rob is!! I hope her wish comes true.. I would gladly give up MY chance (that I dont have) of meeting Rob even just once for her to get her wish!!

Oh! And i have always wished to see Rob's handwritting and what kinds of things he writes to fans. Really glad i got to see it! He's so sweeeet! This just made me love him even more that i already do! Hehehe. I hope that he does get to met her. :)
And I know. It made me tear up! I'm sure Rob will really appreciate this, espacially since he thinks we're all insane people who ask him to bite our necks.
I hope Rob's insight on fans will be changed a little by this letter.. Not that he's ever rude to fans or anything, but it's just that he mostly meets the crazy ones, LOL :P
Now, hopefully he'll be able to see that we're not all like that...even if we may think about/read fanfics about doing stuff like that, we're still civilized! LMAO

I think it's lovely that Rob wrote her this note......he's a great guy...and my heart goes out to her...
But the decision to meet her is Rob's alone....he can't make everyone happy all the time. And he's not the most confident around fans etc.
And i find the comments suggesting Rob should DO IT...or you'll look bad to us....to be slap in the face for him...
If he meets her great...and if not i think it's just as great he took the time to write the note. And i wouldn't like to see him turned on for not going further.

I mean no offense to people who are suffering from severe illnesses but there are so many people out there who are sick and as Rob or any actor how do you pick who's life you will change just for a few hours to meet them?
All the a-listers must get these type of things asked all the time and I think it must be hard for them to say no but instead you do other things like sign a book and hope that will make up for not being able to visit. I
Give Rob a break...he's isn't a messiah and can't travel everywhere and see every sick person. He did what he could and I think signing the book was an amazing gesture.
Yeah....i just feel for Rob if he doesn't meet her and cops flack from fans for it. He can only do so much. There are so many more ill fans than there are Robhours in the day :)
The fan herself was lovely to him....but people get such a head of steam built up about these things and then expect the cast to deliver the world xx

I remember when Rob would smile all the time and lately no smiles. I want smiling, easy going Rob back. I hope people can let go of all the expectations and realize he isn't Edward Cullen, he does get tired and needs his sleep.
I have made no secret about not liking him or Kristen and in part it has been due to their attitudes towards their fans - The attitude that the press shows, not the one that others have been lucky enough to see (Like this girl and H2B).
So I am VERY sorry for my attitude and I can see now that he has done his part for this girl.
I've said my piece already, and amounts to what you said. I think this fan was just awesome in wanting to acknowledge what Rob did for her, and she wanted to make sure he knew how much she appreciated it. Those who would sign a petition trying to coerce Rob into going to see her just don't seem to get it.
Besides, could you imagine if someone showed up purely for the publicity and out of a sense of obligation? What kind of sincerity would they bring to such a meeting?

Think about it. Rob was so kind in signing the book, Ms. MS has brought this to attention in the world for what he's done so far. I hope this display of kindness will spur people to pass it forward as LovesWolves has mentioned. Since I have been on the received end of here kindness, I can say for certain she does pay it forward. I hope this will move others to do more.
In summary, Rob's small act of kindness will cause a large rippling effect through different parts of the world. I hope people can see and appreciate this effect.
He is an amazing person and does what he can - we don't know what else he does its only because this has been bought to out attention.

I do wonder what happens to all those out there who make a wish to meet people like him. Do you think they make the time ever to do things like that? (Privately of course without the paps).
I do think that positive roll modeling is a good idea - Like Xenia said. After all the whole do unto others has a lot more weight than most people think.
If the site was polled who do you think would come in first place for best roll model? PFach, KLutz, RPatz, or TLaut. I know who'd get my vote because honestly he is a true roll model.
Do any of you strive to 'pass it on' to others? I know I don't come off that way on this site because we all love and tease each other (usually) but in real life I do beleive in pass it on. I stop and let people waiting pull out in intersections. Iam training my dog to be a therapy dog so she can bring happiness to the elderly and children and in the hospital. When is the last time one of you did something like that?
BTW - don't post it here. Post it in your heart, that's where it counts. If we each strive to make 1 difference, 1 random act of kindness each day. Before too long the world will really be a better place.

And it would be great if those we idolize lead the way - setting the example of pushing themselves out of their comfort zones to help others too.

2- I think almost all of these "meet the famous person" things, happen in private, obviously it cuts down on the number of crazy fakers who will try ANYTHING to see the famous person.
3 - I know you'd vote P Fach for best role model...and i agree...but it's not fair to compare Rob and Tay to a man in his 30's with a grown family :) They will have to go through being young and carefree first :)
4 - I don't do my share, probably none of us do...but i have brought my sister who is too ill to work to live with me and have a young disabled child so my hands are full only for this point in my life :) But i try to be a good person and i try to make people laugh and smile (probably mostly at me and not with me lol) and mostly just try to be on hand if someone needs me..
All we can really do is try to make the world a little bit better for having us in it....and let each person give in there own way and in their own time :)

You do it daily. Think about your sister. If that's not passing it forward then really, what is? You are getting nothing in return for caring for her - just the knowledge that you are helping her out. Yes, she is your family but in today's world that means little (sad but true). And you do it for us whenever you can, as much as you can.
I got your point and like I said - I caught myself yesterday, took a deep breath, changed my own attitude toward Rob (It has actually placed him on my OK list - I just won't mention where). He did a kind deed too and the girl has passed forward what he gave her by helping non-likers (like me) to see he does actually have a human side.
(Yes - i get I worded this wrong - but you all get my point right? Now that she passed to us, it is up to us to pass a little sunshine into someone else's life. Quietly like Rob did)

I thought that myself reading some of the other posts where Rob would be villified for not meeting her. Very unfair. I feel for this young lady, but he is only one man and cannot be everything to everyone. I'm sure he's pulled in a million directions now as it is.
In that case he'd be visiting hospitals instead of conventions, shows and premieres.
But i saw comments here and a few on the web saying he is obligated to do it...or he'll suck!!

Please take a page out of PFatches book and do something, anything to help out. If you’re a student, get with DARE, if you’re a mother call MADD, there’s Habitat for Humanity, ASPCA to help animals, SaveTheWhales.org or contact your local church to help with a food drive just something.
Maybe we should create a Twi-Girls charity? Just a thought.

That was awesome of Rob and Peter; however, I was totally not that moved by her letter. Call me whatever you want, I think it's lame that she's using her illness to try and meet celebrities. I am part of another fan base and people try to do that all the time - Oh, I'm sick, I really want to meet you! I'm sorry she's sick, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but I don't think she should use it to get privileges other people don't get. She has his autograph and got to meet Peter, that's awesome in itself...Maybe the other fanbase has made me bitter, but I've heard the "oh, I have this disease, etc etc I deserve to meet them more than you" a million times and I so don't want to hear it.
One of my friends granddaughters has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and given 6-8 months all she wants is to visit disneyland except none of the airlines will let them fly they as they want £10,000 for insurance. A whole group of us are now writing to Richard Branson - will it make a difference I have no idea but all I know is a little girl is going to die next year and all she wants to see before this happens is Cinderella's castle and meet Mickey Mouse and I will do whatever I can to help.
If this girl wants to meet Rob then I don't think there is anything wrong in her wanting that, but she got a signed book from him and she didn't expect it so she is just saying thanks....give her a break. Actually give all sick people a break, they don't ask for it year yet their live get torn apart and they can't do thing that you and me can. If we wanted to catch a glimpse of them we could go stalk them on set, can she ..no...there is nothing wrong with having wishes....but when they come true it feels like a little miracle has happened just for you. I'm happy that rob was able to bring a smile to her face and you should be happy to.
And I don't recall her asking to meet Rob. She is merely thanking him for the book, AND Peter acknowledged in his twitter that he remembered her in the wheelchair with the oxygen. I think this is a genuinely sick girl.
And also the point of this whole post is to show how amazing Peter and Rob are for doing what they have for this fan.
I admire the actors dedication to this project and the fans; we don't see that often enough Peter is amazing for helping out.
I wish Ms. MS all the best, she really got a tough break.

She helped keep me calm when I found out that I have 8 out of the nine symptoms for N1H1, she's helped keep me calm when I stressed out over my car when it got towed last week to ensure my asthma didn't flare up and she has helped me in so many other ways. PFach is filming a movie, filming a tv series and has a wife and children. He is still able to give so much of himself. I think he's an amazing man. The twilight cast is unbelievable!

Much smarter people than me already said this, I just wanted to add.... that Twilight fan base can over react sometimes, they should just stop and think. Peter just got the letter few days ago, they are still filming Eclipse and they will do so until the end of October...lets wait and see what happens and stop being judgemental about this.
If he meets her great, if he doesn't that ok too. In any case Rob doesn't seem like a type of person who will advertise this on internet, we don't know what's going on behind close doors. To me it makes more sense if it's done privately.
Also I don't think this girl would want to be used as an excuse for a witch hunt on Rob. I doubt that was her intention. She just wanted to be sure that her letter gets to him, because he gets tons of fan letters, and there's no chance that he can read all of them so she used the internet to deliver her message.

Rob is such a great guy. Seriously, I may not know him personally, but when I see things like this, it makes me believe. PFach is a good guy too, the whole cast seem like great people. This just goes to show, that not all of us Twilight fans are crazy, frizzy haired, stalkers. Lol. Most of us are acutally pretty normal. This warms my heart, I hope Ms. MS gets everything she ever wanted.
