You have to think about BD as a movie....not as the book. The changing perspectives and the slower pace of it - a huge chunck of time is spent with Jacob watching Edward watch Bella in pain, with nothing that either can do - doesn't make for great movie. Also, there is not much action, just seuspense and tension. Whoever is adapting the book will have a lot of work cut out for them.

Personally, it was not my favorite book in the series, they finally get married, go on a honeymoon are extremely happy and then the misery begins. The happiness was too short lived, could have let a year go by with her as a human. After all 3 books of constant fear, could have let the characters be happy for a little while longer.

The wedding scenes will be beautiful though. When I first read it, I pictured the whole scene with the instrumental intro to Guns 'N Roses "November Rain". Amazing!

first of all... i never said anything about jacob black, where the hell did i mention him like that?!!! second i'm not as pathetic into thoes stupid teams of jacob and edward!!! i hate that crap!!!! and third sorry i never said i was a huge jacob fanitic, i know its a love story B!!! i'm a werewolf fan which has absolutly nothing to do with the twilight saga. your love story by the way, happens to be more about obsession though. and i wasn't just describing how i thought it should of ended i was thinking of the logical way to end the book because when it comes down to it why the hell would you give up everything important? mybe in my life stituation i would have done what she did, but because she had friends, loving parents and oportunitites to make something of herself either than being a monster, her choices were plain stupid. that's my anwser take it or leave it.

I will addmit that at first, i was kindof freaked out by whole thing. But slowly i became more used to it (mainly because i began reading many fanfics!) and the more i read the book the more it grows on me.

I just think it would be good to do it like that! And i also i like CindysGotOCD way of starting and ending the movie. And, like i said, if they run out of things to do they can do a teeny section about Renesmee in the future. It might also clear up any problems people have with Jacob about being a Pedo...because you will be able to see that physically they grow to the same age!

I love all the books. I love Twilight the movie. I so want to see New Moon. I also hope they make the rest into film. I think people that love twilight will really enjoy that. I know that I will enjoy watching them. Stephenie Meyers wrote awesome books. I enjoyed reading the. I will read them over and over agian. My favorite book it Twilight and Breaking Dawn. I love it when Bella and Edward was together. There were parts that I like in New Moon and Eclipse. I just could not put my two favorites down. They are all great in my eyes.

personally, BD was my least favourite of the books, (i dont hate it) because i found the Renesmee / Jacob thing a bit weird, but thats just my opinion BUT they can't not make the movie. there are 4 books in the saga, so they need to make 4 movies. what about the people who are just watching the movies, and havent read the books (like i did with Lord of the rings). you need to end the story.

i am not a teenage girl but i love Twilight. i grew up watching Buffy and Angel and i love anything with vamps,books, movies. anne rice, kelley armstrong books,i am legend, 30 days of night, blood ties, moonlight, true blood. to be honest, i was put off reading Twilight because i was told it was just another love story, and i read mostly vampire / sci fi/ horror books. 4 years ago something really bad happened to me and i have had trouble coping. i read Twilight and it helped alot. ironically it feels safe, familiar. it is the world i retreat to when i'm feeling down. its a story of hope. that against all odds, love wins and bella is happy. that everything was worth it. if you hated BD, did you not want Bella to be happy? to have her happy ending? if you've never felt like you would give everything up for your love, then you've never been in love.

to the person who said its not realistic to marry at 18 and stay together, some do, some dont. i know a couple who dated since they were 14, they are now in their 40s and have 2 children. anyways its a book. i refer you to my previous comment, that it gives people hope. whats wrong with that? if no one thought relationships would last, no one would ever get married or have children. all books and movies show an idealistic version of love. if they didnt no one would read/watch them.

my two cents :o)

personally i liked BD the least, because of Renesmee and Jacob, its just weird. but thats just my opinion. BUT i would still want it made into a movie.. because its the 4th book. you can't not film the end of the story. and some people may just be watching the movies, not reading the books, ( i have done this with LOTR) you can't just miss the ending.

Absolutely! I love reading everyone's opinion on here that's the whole point of the forums. There are plenty of things that I do NOT like but that doesn't mean i'm going to go join a site thats for fans. Exactly! I felt like I had seen Twilight before it even came out in the theaters due to all of the clips being leaked and pics being taken during filming. I truly respect their creative process and think the privacy will yield a better movie in the end!

Once again...I agree with you! I mean I love a little sneak peek but when November rolls around (big smiles) I wanna be in the theater excited not feeling like i'm going to watch all the clips of videos/pics that I saw over the past months on the net. AND, i'm a LONG way away from Vancouver so i'm a little jealous I don't get to see those things first hand :)

Your reply was very classy and I really appreciate the way you worded it. I'm not quite sure why someone who has those opinions would be apart of a community like this but they certainly aren't welcome.
