New Photo of Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning in ‘The Runaways’
But I'm just reading Breaking Dawn again (3rd time) and I'm not sure if there is enough in either part to make two complete movies. They just need to make BD as long as is needed. It will be difficult to make though, but I'm sure that theres not a chance that the studio won't make it, they know it will be a big pay day for them.
However, you're right about the 'going crazy' part, I haven't thought about it. The possible resolution could be making both parts at the same time -the break wouldn't be longer than a few months then :)
Besides, I think that by then most of the audience would be familiar with BD (the book) so they wouldn't be THAT anxious, knowing how it will all end ;)
And also i read on the MTV website the other day that she couldnt pick up the NKCA because she was writing another book....does anyone know which book? or is it supposed to be on the 'down low' and MTV slipped up? It would be good if that was the case!
Sorry, didn't mean to rant. heh. I just always liked they were both there.
Anyway, I also hope they make the 4th movie, but I have reservations about how they would handle renesmee. I don't know much about babies, but if there were a least some front teeth in, they wouldn't have to show if it has all its teeth or not. They could probably get a young child without too much difficulty that's able to talk and seem a little wiser than its years. I'm surprised sometimes by babies/children in movies how well they can do. Don't want to screw it up with TOO much CGI, though. I like it to look realistic.
As for the rating.. make it R if they have to. It's not geared toward kids anyway, and if they want to see it, they can get their parents' permission. They could easily do a PG-13, though. The sex scenes aren't described in much detail anyway, they can do the same in the movie. Same with the birth scene. They can have blood, but they don't have to SHOW Edward biting through - they can show from the back what he's doing. They can keep Kristen covered up, though she's half-naked in the book.
Only thing is the length. They'd have to work hard to make it follow the book, but keep it within its time constraints. They can pull it off - if they pass up the chance to make the 4th a movie, they're pretty darn stupid.
As for the ratings/gore/sex issue? I say go for it and keep it true to the book. I don't want to see a watered down version because producers think they need to keep things mild for a younger audience. If someone is too young then they are too young. I would rather have my daughter mature before seeing it than have a PG-13 version come out just so see can see it right away.
I'm positive that it will be the same way with BD.... if they try really hard. Besides, it'll be 2012 or so before they even start filming :)
however i felt liek twilight was condensed in the movie, esp the scene w. the meadow
so they can condense the movie, maybe they dont have to show the whole dynamics of the birth and wth with the baby! theres enough technology these days to make it possible, theres a commercial of talking baby on a blackberry, please!
As much as I love reading all of the books, Breaking Dawn is the least movie-adaptable. It's not just the horrors of Bella's distorted pregnant body and the bloody birth, the book is slow and lacks a climactic fight scene. The battle at the end is just conversation and Bella's struggle with her shield. How can that be shown to an audience who might not have read the books?
All of us will pay to see any movie from the saga, but I don't think Breaking Dawn will make a good movie. I'd rather that Stephenie Meyer put her effort into writing more books than overseeing the movie adaptations.
Also something that worries me, a lot more than the birth scene or the non-existing sex scene as there is no description in the book, is how boring/annoying the whole mind reading/talking thing with the wolves will be, when i was reading it i couldnt help but think "how are they gonna pull *that* one off?"

SUMMIT DON'T BE STUPID!
How dare they mess with my 80s childhood by doing that to an early 80s icon!!!
And with all the special effects and CGI it would definately be possible to create Renesmee; she HAS to be in the movie; there would be no movie without her; she is the reason the Volturi come, there is no way they can make a movie with no Renesmee. I mean have you seen LOTR, Harry Potter, Beowolf and Benjamin Button? Yes, it would be hard to do but definately doable, it would just have to be done in the right way to impress all us Twilighters.
It would be hard to split the movie up though with the two different viewpoints but really, I don't think it's necessary at all. I mean, the story through Bella and Jacob's eyes can easily be told, there is no need for narration and confusion. The Twilight movie showed things that Bella didn't physically see or experience in the book (such as James and co killing Waylon) so it would definately be possible for BD to show Jacob circling the Cullen home and then for example cut back to Bella drinking blood from a cup, meaning both viewpoints could be shown, without cutting a straight distinction between the two. Oh I don't know, but you get my drift :)
Also I think it would really exciting to see Bella as a vampire, she has been wanting to be one throughout all three books previous and Twilight fans need to see her get her dream, for everything to fall into place for her and for her and Edward to finally be the same species. Her longing will be portrayed through all 3 films so it seems only right for it all to be tied up in the fourth. It will be interesting to see the vampire world through her eyes and I think it could be expressed really beautifull if done right. Plus the love of Bella and Edward only grows stronger in BD and it would be lovely to see this in the movie.
As for the sex/gory scenes? It can easily be made less gory and less nudity etc, but I think they should stay as true to the book as possible, whilst keeping on the right side of the line to reign in viewers so that Summit can still make their $$$. Parents who let younger children read BD have to be prepared to let them view the film, it's only fair and why let them read that type of content if they don't want them watching the book made into a movie? I think parents who have read the book should register that the books get darker throughout the saga - just like the Harry Potter books and films - and that BD is going to be the darkest book. It has to be kept the same as it was written, with the war being shown properly so that the movie saga can be finished as it was supposed to. Also, as someone else said, all the underage fans that adore it now will be older when BD finally comes out.
Oh my Goodddddd, I can't believe I'm talking about BD being in the theatres. I cannot wait til I have all 4/maybe 5 films on my shelf :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
It could be done it's just a question of doing it right.
New Moon will be an amazing film though.
Ok, I myself, am a definite Twilight fan, but I do see the many issues that might stop Breaking Dawn from becoming a film. Although, even if I wasn't a Twilight fan, I'd still say my piece here. I must disagree with you on some of your points.
Your first point..is not a problem that would stop the movie from being made at all. So they get married, what's the problem? The marriage is a good thing. Edward had been begging Bella to marry him since the third book, and she has to do it in order to get him to be the one to change her. That's hardly a problem.
Second point, I agree. It is a bit dissatisfying that all of the suspense and build up of that one moment where we finally get to experience the full force of Bella's and Edward's love for each other, and it just "fades to black" as you said. However, Mrs. Meyer has her own beliefs as to why she wrote the book that way. That doesn't necessarily mean that the movie has to be the same way...At least all of the Twi-hard girls would love to see a bit more action considering they are all living as Bella! And again..that isn't really a reason to NOT make the book into a movie.
Third point, well....Bella is pregnant...so the narration is handed to Jacob. Hm...could end up confusing to the fans, but they know how the books go, they should expect the films to follow the same lead, although there may be some way around that whole ordeal. Again, not really a reason why the film shouldn't be made, but one of the bigger reasons why it would be harder to manage.
Fourth point, I must disagree with you completely about this one. Edward loves Bella so much that he would stoop to any level and do any thing possible to save her life. He always has, only this time it is out of his hands. I believe that may be the point. He has been her savior throughout the whole saga, but this time, he can't do anything about it. And because he loves her that much, he is dying inside, literally in pure agony, that he agreed to sleep with her in the first place. He feels responsible for this whole problem, so that makes it even worse on him. He is completely miserable, and he is having a difficult time holding his composure. The girl he loves more then his own "existence" is dying in front of him and he can't do anything about it. Of course he is completely needy! This only proves further the bond and love Edward and Bella have for each other.
Fifth point, this could potentially become a problem with the whole PG-13 bull. I'd say the book may be a little less then PG-13, so why not make the movie a little more the PG-13? There is a way around all of the full fledged blood and gore. Show a glimpse of what is happening when Edward is biting through the "shell" and getting the baby out of Bella, but then focus on something else. Jacob is narrating at this point, and that is actually what happens. He notices Edward doing that, then turns his attention right back to Bella and keeping her breathing. It is actually a very emotional scene rather then complete gore. Bella is dying, and giving birth at the same time, and everyone has their hands completely full trying to help her. Not a reason or problem big enough to stop the cameras from rolling.
Sixth point, I think that Renesmee fits her exactly. Perfectly! It is completely unique. And at the time, everyone believed that Renesmee was unique herself. I don't think that it is a bad name, I find it to be rather pretty. And I definitely don't think that it is "stupid dialogue" its only a name. Why anyone would have a problem with a name is beyond me. This point is definitely the farthest thing from being a reason for the movie not to be made, its not even funny! And to add to it, this is showing us as fans that Bella wants her daughter to have some form of a tie to her parents and Edwards parents. Renesmee Carlie. Renee and Esme, as well as Carlisle and Charlie. It seems her way to keep it close. She is a very loving girl. It is not a surprise she chose that name.
Seventh point, my oh my. The lose ends keep getting tied. It seems like a complete dream come true, which it is really. Bella's dreams are coming true. I think though, that this is signifying that she was made for Vampire life, as everyone keeps saying. She has always been completely clumsy and she attracts bad luck and bad things. When all her dreams finally start coming true after she is a Vampire, I think that it signifies that she has come to the point in her life where she has matured so completely and she is strong, and she knows what she wants and she is finally complete. Jacob imprinting on Renesmee like that seems a bit far fetched, but it was a miracle considering that Jacob wanted to kill Renesmee not half a second before he laid his eyes on her chocolate brown eyes. He is lucky because if he would have killed Renesmee, then if Rosalie and everyone else didn't take him out before Bella could get to him, she definitely wouldn't have thought twice about it. Not a reason why the movie shouldn't be made. Not at all.
Eighth point, Bella had been preparing mentally for her transformation for over two years. She was more then ready for it to happen. Just because she was a vampire, doesn't mean she didn't have a conscious, or a heart for that matter. She did find it extremely difficult to not hunt those humans in the woods, and she wouldn't have stopped had it been for her feeling threatened when Edward was following her. She didn't proceed because she didn't know if it was someone she knew. She wouldn't have been able to bear it if she hurt someone close to her. You are missing the point where she is an extremely kind warm girl. She loves with a great passion. And it WAS difficult for her not to bite her dad when he visited. It was very hard for her, but the fact that it was her father, and that she had all of the support of her vampire family, and werewolf friend, it made it a bit easier for her. Plus she held her breath a lot. She is stronger then the Cullen men because she is a newborn, and though she could easily take them down...if all of them were on her at the same time...there is no way she could take them all down. Not a reason to not make the movie.
Ninth point, Irina, one sister from the Denali clan, she opened her mouth to the Volturi about Renesmee, because she thought she was an immortal child. Of course the Volturi are going to come and put a stop to it. Not to mention, Aro is a selfish vampire who takes and takes, so he had already been planning to destroy the Cullens before Bella was even a vampire. This was only a reason to come before they actually had one. And it would have been a war, that is what it was supposed to be the whole time. Two armies to fight for what they wanted. A war. Not even close to being a reason for the movie not to be made.
Tenth point, Aro was amazed by Bella's gift. He'd never seen anything like it. Didn't know it existed. Nobody did at that point except Bella herself. And it was that, as well as Alice, that slowed them down. Not to mention all of the witnesses the Volturi themselves brought. The wolves stopped them in their tracks. They still wanted a fight. Bella's gift disoriented them and gave them doubt like they have never had before, but they still wanted a fight, although they knew that there was a huge chance they would lose. And Alice got there just in time...too perfect timing really...and said her two cents. The Volturi ran out of reasons to fight, and with their own witnesses there, there was nothing else they could do unless they wanted to be exposed for what they really are. That is why they left peacefully. To keep up their name. To keep their "white hats" because they believed themselves saints. Again, not a reason for the movie not to be made.
So there you have it. All of your reasons are things to consider. However, none of your reasons are reasons that should stop the movie from being made. With CGI and the technology, and a professional in that area, anything could come to the big screen and look real!! Definitely had some reasons to consider, but none of them were valid enough to keep the book off the screen. In my opinion anyways....and I'm not the only one I'm sure.
Some of my friends and people I've talked with say that the whole birthing scene and pregnancy freaked them out. I guess I understand why, one friend even said he thought Sigourney Weaver should have made an appearance because it reminded him of the Alien movies.... I just laughed :D
At any rate, technology advances everyday, I mean have you seen The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button? It's almost crazy what they can do...
The whole R rating thing... It's gruesome, it happened, you can't leave it out... toning it down wouldn't be the right thing to do, it wouldn't be staying true to the book.
Do not make it PG13, cause then they'll have to cut all the important scenes out. Kids shouldn't watch it anyway.
ok first of all, how in the hell can you make 3 movies and just end the saga there??? oh yah thts right you CAN'T!
Breaking Dawn is my fav book and i have been anticipating the movie just as i was when i read the fourth book.
OK so maybe it mght have to be R rated, so what if you read the books and your parents bought you them then they should do the same for the movie ticket and if not then it looks like you S.O.L. not our prblm. And yah the movie might have to be 3 hours long okay lets pull a benjamin button or a pirates of the carrabean?(all 3 hr long movies) so why cant we do tht to twilight???? they cut all the good parts frm twilight when they could of NO when they should of made it longer im sure tht the fans won't mind if they get a little bit more edward time(or taylor) time in breaking dawn, i know i sure as hell wouldn't I MEAN GIVE US A BREAK ITS THE LAST F' ing MOVIE for crying out loud =]]]
nd thts my opinion sorry its like a book but w.e!!!
The fan base for the Twilight Series stretches from the age of 10, all the way to grown, mature women in their 60's! I can honestly say that from experience...lol My daughters are 10 and 14, my sister is 27, I am 32, my mother is 53 and my mother in law is in her mid sixties!
General consensus, BREAKING DAWN IS THE BEST BOOK by a land slide!
To not make Breaking Dawn into a movie would cause women/girls of all ages around the world to boycot the filming industry! Seriously!
The only way BD will not be made is if all directors, screen writers, visual artists, graphic designers, tech specialists, animators, artists, cast, etc, collectivly fall and hit their heads.
Chronicles of Narnia anyone! How about Pans Labryinth? Pirates of The Carribean, Lord Of The Rings......... These are great movies with awesome visual effects. There is no question as to how they would make Renesmee come to life, or anything else in Breaking Dawn for that matter. If I can watch a movie with a talking lion, some creature from another world that is half goat and god knows what else, a whole pirate ship of men who are half man/half fish, and some little troll looking thing that walks around looking for "my precious", then they sure as hell better start putting their heads together and make Renesmee come to life, teeth, rapid aging, heavenly voice, advanced speaking, and jumping 8ft in the air for a freakin snow flake (cause its cute) !
As for the cast, they would be stupid not to make all 4 movies! Seriously, think about it! Case in point......Robert Pattinson was in Harry Potter, but does anyone really care or did anyone really notice? No, not really, but now women could spot him picking his nose from a mile away! lmao His fan base will follow whatever movie he makes unless he does something worse than Tom Cruise! hehe
They don't need to be so explicit, just a short scene of them covered in feathers xD
Give us Breaking Dawn!!!!
Anyways so much news to catch up on....If breaking down is not made into a film I will hunt down the big wigs at Summit, cut off their right arm, and then ask them how it feels! (I've said this before and I mean it) Then I will get the wet dish rag out and slap em round the gob with it for being stupid! LMAO
It has to be made other wise there will be no closure, we need to have it all brought to life...CG-bloody-I will cover Reneesme, if it can do that Butt ugly Gollam in LOTR it can do a gorgeous child.
I don't think it should be rated 12, it should be at least 15 with the option if they are brought along with Adult to see it, they can...its up to the parent...but they don't have to show Edward ripping her stomach open with his teeth or sex scene's, nothing was described in the book, so it can be left to the views mind.
If they do it into 2 films they can film it back to back so that the actors can move on, release date them a couple off months apart and then release them together as a double dvd.
Hey they should give me a job, I'd be good at this! LMAO
Giving you an "amen" on the Gollam bit . . . I have mentioned it several times before when the whole Renesmee thing has been brought up. It wouldn't be that difficult to produce a child like her through CGI.
Of course, I agree with the rest of your post as well (as usual my friend!). :)
But, on a positive note, maybe if the 4th one is made....they might be use to all the craziness and it won't phase them by then........do you think that is possible????
This is why we, the fans of Twilight, need to support other films the actors are in. Boost their confidence that we don't just see them as "Edward, Bella, Jacob, Alice, etc...."
If they are really concerned about the birth scene they could always put it behind closed doors with some of the family outside listening or something like that. There are ways to get around the violent and sexual parts.
BUT, I think they should include it all. If the kiddies parents let them read the books, then they can take them to the movie.
Besides their are a lot of camera tricks for Renesemee. I've seen that baby genius movie and sure it was cheesy, but this is the future. With a budget like theirs I am sure they can come up with something brilliant with the right camera shots.
Another thing is the movie can be split in two. It can be done in a way that's decent in two sections. The ending for the first film would be Bella happy with her marriage, baby and new family. The second film can end with her developing and honing her new skills and adapting as a vampire. Then end with the big fight.
Sure Breaking Dawn is going to be darker then the rest. If you think about it most of the underage teenagers will be adults when Breaking Dawn is released. I don't care if someone is underage when the movie comes out. They will have to just wait like the rest of us did when we were younger and couldn't do those things without permission. Besides it reminds me a lot of Harry Potter when some of the movies got darker and more violent. If you don't like it don't let your children read the books and watch the movies. I knew this wasn't a book for the underage from the beginning it was violent and sexual from the start.
But yes .. I agree .. there HAS To be Breaking Dawn!! Personally, I think the movies should be rated R from now on. Really, Eclipse and BD are not for children...
My husband will be 30 in May .. I can't EFFIN wait .. no matter what, I'll always be younger than him! Unless, of course, he turns into a vampire .. hahahaha hilarious.
Please Summit, give us Breaking Dawn!!!
Bring on Isle Esme, moonlight skinny dipping, feathers (tons of feathers!), broken headboards...;}
Concerning the sex, we don't have to see that, meaning PG-13 movie. Or we can see one or two scenes, meaning R rating. Either way, it's not graphic in the book, so it doesn't have to be graphic in the movie. Sometimes less is more. Personally, I can't wait to see the "after" scene, where Bella wakes up on the white bed, next to Edward, bruised, and feather coated. I thought that was a great scene in the book....emotional, touching, and humorous.
As for the birth scene, we don't need to see Edward rip her uterus open with this teeth. Have Edward leaning in to bite, and then cut away to Bella writhing in pain with Jacob next to her. There are ways to convey the scene with out all the gore. I think bringing the book to film can be done. The biggest concern is the CGI for Renesmee, and frankly, that's not a very big concern. The Lord of the Rings trilogy has proven that anything can be accomplished, and done well, in a film.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1324999/
2.Esay just make it in to 2 movies like the last harry potter movie
3. You can senure that part .. we dont need to see ever thing .. but you cant cut out the hole birht scene ..
Btw .. the y cant just make 3 movies and .. Naah we dont make the 4th we just let everbody wonder what happens with jacob,Edward and bella -____-
u know as well as i they well down play some parts.!(( wish they won,t) but then again they may not we,ll just have to hope that they stay true to the book!!!! BUT pleaseeee i hope this movie get,s on the big screen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Renesme can be done (anyone here see Beowulf?) but it would cost a ton and she would look to airbrushed next to the human actors.
as for making it an R-rated movie I really don't see that happening, I think I read in an interview that Stephenie Meyer doesn't watch R movies because of her faith (nothing wrong with that) so I don't think they would make a movie that the author herself couldn't watch :P
I don't think Summit will pass on BD simply because of the complexity of the graphics, did you guys see Watchmen? They can do wonderful things with technology.
The REAL problem is the actors. Nobody wants to see new faces playing the main characters. And you guys know that if Kristen drops off SO WILL ROBERT!
Another reason that BD might not make it would be because of Eclipse. Its not my favorite book and many fans complain about Jacob's character. This is the movie that will make the least amount of money IMHO and Im sure Summit probably suspects that.
I dont care if they rate this movie Rated R. I'm just hoping for nudity. Who doesn't want to see Rob naked? lol
The book has some great stuff, such as the night Bella spends the night with Edward at his house (engagement), Bella and Edward's discussion on why she wont marry him, the convo with Edward and Jake (camping), etc. And we all want to see these things, trust me I'll see this movie several times.
With that in mind, I already know I wont see this movie 10+ times like I saw Twilight. Eventhough Twilight was not upto my standards. =)
As for the nudity . . .where exactly was there nudity described in detail in BD? There wasn't really. There would be no real reason to see Kristen naked, not even in the birth scene. Even if the script called for it, many women in Hollywood use body doubles because they won't get naked in front of the camera (ie: Julie Roberts).
If the actors don't sign on it will be because they are tired of all of the fan crap . . . not because of the story line.
I think they will come up with someting for Renesmee, today almost anything is possibole, and after threee movies they're gonna have enough money.
And if the film is to long, they can just make two. (But I defently wouldn't mind it to be in tree or four ours, like the Lord of the Rings or Titanic, why can't BD be long? :D)
If they don't do it.. Many fans is gonna see red. I think they will make it, they just need some time, before they promise anything.
I actually thought about Breaking Dawn once, and how I think they should make it into a movie. How about stopping the minute Bella turns into a vampire, you know, when she opens her eyes? Then we all know she's a vampire, we alle know she's given birth to Renesmee, we all know that they live happily ever after (well at least eventually) and then that's it.
I honestly think the whole "mystery" and the supernatural of the books ends, the moment Bella becomes a part of the vampire world. You know, when she no longer needs protection and she's awake to know everything that goes on, even at night because she doesn't sleep anymore. The thing I love about the books is the fact that Bella's human, and not a vampire. There are things she doesn't understand about the supernatural world, there are things she can't do, so there's always this mysterious atmosphere over things, because she's not around to experience everything. I don't know if I'm making sense here?
So I'm not sure I want a Breaking Dawn movie, but if they do decide to make it, and it turns out that they delt pretty well with all the challenges of Renesmee and the length of the book and such, then of course I'll gladly watch it. :)
It went from a lovable series to something just entirely DIFFERENT from what I was expecting. TOO different. I'd like to pretend Breaking Dawn never existed, to an extent -- and that includes not seeing it in a film-version (although, I do like your idea about ending it when she opens her eyes).
I don't want to see Robert Pattinson inject Kristen Stewart's heart with venom.
I don't want to see him rip her stomach open with his teeth.
I don't want to see Charlie's physical pain as he sees what his daughter becomes. (And doesn't question it because he'd rather be on a "need to know basis"... for real? Makes no sense.)
On the other hand, it would be weird and really up in the air for them to just end with Eclipse. I guess I'm ok with either way, as long as Breaking Dawn doesn't turn out to be the most bizarre movie I've ever seen, which I have a feeling that it could.
And they just can't stop with Eclipse, there are so many things that will be left open then.. So many questions.
I really hope they will make it into a movie.
And I think they can make it good for ppl who haven't read the book two.
And Bella vampire will be awsome :D
but they have to make Braking Dawn! but i believe they will,it would just be a stupid move if they dont. and with the whole making it two movies, i think they should just make it a long movie. i say a good movie is a long movie, like some one said scareface was 4hr long, even LOTR Trilogy movies are like 3hrs long!but i was upset that Twilight was short they needed to add a lil more details about Bella and Edward so in BD they need to keep the wedding, Isle Esme, the pregnancy, birth....etc. who cares if its rated R these books never seem like children books anyways, and they better get the book right because i cried on some parts like when Bella says her good byes to Nessie and that she'll love her forever. that chokes me up ever time..... but i know they can pull off the whole Renesmee thing, they might be a lil more advance with the cgi by then.
but ya thats just my thought
Team Edward :)
But I also think it may need to be R rated and two parts.
With all the money Summit has now the making of Reneesme can be done with CGI!Remember Smeigel, Ben Button?? Anything can be done by computer now if you have the $$ to do it and Summit defeinatley will have more than enough by the time BD begins filming.
As far as the rating goes it should be an "R" rated movie but it wont as the series main audience is teenage girls. They will just have to work the birthing scene and (sad to say) all the hot sex scenes a bit but a lot can be shown in a PG-13 movie now a days so we may still get some intense scenes after all.
I do agree that the movie needs to be at least 3 hours long. If Titanic, Harry Potter and the god aweful Watchmen movie can do it why not BD????
I guess now that all the tweens are finding their way to this book we'll hear screams of "LYK O-EM-GEE! EWW!" when Bella's in anything short of a freaking Bhurka. >>
yeah, i think i'll like it when they divide it into 2 parts.
but. it just has to be done!
BD is already so perfect, otherwise the series just wouldn't be complete. BD adds SO much, they cannot leave it out.
but yeah, i'll understand why they (don't) consider it. It has a lot of requirements.
I'm soon 15, and I don't have any problem with it. It would just be sad if it is only for people over 16, I have so many friens on my age who loves BD, and my little sister who is soon eleven. (Mature for her age)
It's not like we will be creeped out or something, if some parents worries then they should just don't let their children don't see the movie.
And I agree with Sarahsitas, it was tame. I almost hope they overplay it insted of tame it in the movie. I mean, they have waited for like forever, they are meant for eachoter, and all we get is some words. I was also hoping for something simliar to that, Sarahsitas.
Another more selfish reason I want BD made is that I want to try out for the part of Siobhan, one of the witnesses on the Cullen's side....so for that to happen BD has to happen!! :p
As many have said...make it two movies if you have to....but true fans will sit through a movie however long it is...with Lord of the Rings those were each about 3 hours and they did all day marathons with those movies....12 hours straight with only small breaks for food.
As for technology...it is always changing...and who knows where technology will be by the time they start filming.
It will be a huge fan let down if it isn't filmed...but if it isn't made now...I have a feeling someone will make it eventually...and sadly it won't be as good because it won't have the cast that we have come to love.
For my website I'm in contact with the French distributor of the Twilight movies which is in partnership with Summit Entertainment and their really nice representative (M. Bardel) recently told me that Summit bought the right for Breaking Dawn.
Also, read in a very serious French cinema magazine (Studio Ciné live, issue special Twilight from April 09), Ashley Greene told in a interview that Summit is waiting to see New Moon's audience score to decide weither or not their making BD.
Contact me if you need to know anything more ;-)

When I was younger I couldn't watch The Labyrinth, But when I was older I was happy with the way it was made its a classic! David Bowie was so sexy in the movie!
dont "we ppl, have anything better to do than write an essay on this website...?" well:::
as far as im concerned, AWSHA...u are ON the WEBSITE so why are u waisting you PRECIOUS TIME READING THE ESSAYS ON THE WEBSITE??...
i dnt know what other think, but as far as i can tell...ur just a hater who enjoys make other ppl miserable...go find someone or something else to annoy..we wouldnt want to waist your time...im soooooooo sure u have SOMETHING BETTER TO DO...
altho if u did....YOU WOULDNT BE ON THIS SIGHT TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!!!
I just enjoy laughing at how retarded people like you are. Especially you, since you apparently like boys who "sparkle." Maybe if I told you a sparkling Robert Pattinson jumped off the cliff, you would follow. Also please Do nOt TyPe LiKe ThIs, it makes me think that you have the brain capacity of a peanut.
Anyway, they HAVE to make BD! Not only it's my favorite book but also it's like the previous books are the setup for the big confrontation and crowning moment. The whole Volturi vs vampires/werewolves!

I love the twilight series. I have become very passionate about these books and to see the other 3 get made into movies would be very unfair. When eclipse ends, there are so many unanswered questions that only BD can answer. BD is not my favorite book but I think the series would be incomplete without it.
If they are waiting to see how well NM does to see whether they will do BD, i think thats silly. There are millions of fan sites about this series. They are going to make our BIG! they would lose a lot of money otherwise.
If they are making the movie, then we can get down the the lagistics. The length, the rating, Reenesme.
I am also an avid HP fan so i supported their decision to make 2 parts to the 7th book. Why can't they do the same thing with BD?
I think that Mrs. Meyer should be able to see the movie, therefore they need to make the movie PG-13. There are ways to make it not too steamy or violent.
Reenesme. it can be done. They will get a HUGE budget for BD so there is not reason to not be able to make this work.
It makes me sad to think that BD might not be a movie, but we have to prepare ourselves for the worst!
It Doesn't Matter How They Come Around It, BD Is An Amazing Book And Can Be Made Just As An Amazing Film Really. I Think Summit Just Need To Come At It The Right Way.
If They Can Do It Harry Potter (Which Are Just As Big Books And Is One Even Bigger?) Then They Can Do It With Breaking Dawn.
One movie yes, but not 2 parts.... there just isn't enough movie-story there!
Think about it. If they did make 2 movies out of it, then the first movie would all be about Bella's creepy pregnancy and Edward soaking in guilt. That does NOT make a good movie. Sorry.
What they should do is gloss over the pregnancy, then show the gory birth, show the transformation, and then jump ahead to the Volturi storyline. Oh, and if BD is made into a movie, please please please, give me a real fight at then end. Thank you.
although i heard that the actors where only under contract for 3 films, so if they wanted to the actors could demand mega money for starring in BD, which the studio may not be willing to pay...so that could cause problems!
This is just my opinion but I don't think that we have to worry all the books will be made into movies and they well get better with each one and more money and bigger budgets come out of it.
I also think that some people are worried about Kristen doing the naked or sex scences remember she is 19 now and growing more mature by the day. Plus think about what money can buy? I don't think that she will have a problem with it.

Awesome!
I really do want Breaking Dawn to be a movie.. to me I think its just weird making 3/4 books into movies. it won't feel.. i dunno complete I guess.
as for the Renesmee issue... i'm sure they can think of something...
Im keeping my fingers crossed for Breaking Dawn.
They made Benjamin Button, they can make Nessie. If they made Watchmen, which some said unfilmable than can make Breaking Dawn, thank you and have a nice day
best reason why i have read soooooooooo freaking far...[[execpt mine]] :))
but for real...
there is no reason why they shouldnt...and they better have. Its the last book and it ties everything together in the end. EVERYONE wants to see what kristin/bella will look like as a NEW BORN vampire...and NESSIE is a HUGE part of the story and the link between edward/bella. and dont forget jacob..im and edward fan but jacob has a part in the last book...and it would be unfair to him and his fans if they leave that out of the movie saga...so i agree 100% that breaking dawn HAS to be made. POINT BLANK!
rock on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GO TEAM EDWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats my fave book and it so good! of course its going to be long the book is long and 3-4 hours who cares you will get so many ppl going to see it if it stays really close to the book! twilight was good but cut to many things out!!
And kristen is perfect for bell as a vamp they will just have to give her a make over! for the part.
Rated-R that sounds bout right you could probly go pg-13 though!
you have them having sex for the first time and then the birth most movies that have sex in em are still pg-13 and they have the bloody stuff with guns and shootin this is going to be important everything in BD is important because everything connects to one another its not immposible finding a baby the flim ppl have done so many things with movies these days and they r sayin it going to be hard with edward rippin bella stomach and the baby bittin her!! come on!!
i hope that this book gets made into a movie really badly!!!!
BD!! you cant just end it with the third book gotta do all four!!
but the my little pony that is wierd lol
but i think that they should make it just for the sake of no disappointment and the fact of completign the saga
if it has to be rated r then what's the big issues. if people want to see it bad enough
they can drag there gaurdian to the movies to watch it with them.
and come on, really.. how hard can it be to find a child who can play this part.
if the child cant talk or whatever use computers to edit the film.
in the film baby geniuses they made the babies mouths move and gave them voices.
also the fact that in dr.dolittle they did the same with animals.
its obviously not THAT hard.
and agree with what everyone is saying to make the movies into two seperate films.
thats fine. give the fans what they want. they cant complain about money with ALL that they are getting from the films success.
they need to stop making sorry excuses and make the freaken movie.
we should totally riot!! lol
Okay, I'll stop whining now =]
so its gonna have to be rated R and i dont mind that happening
and why stick it all into one movie?
make it fun for the twilight fans
and make 2 or 3 movies for breaking dawn...
that can be pretty cool. =)
more edward and jacob, that wouldnt hurt.=)
It does not need to be two movies, you take away the dialqoue and add action than you could get three hours and half. Remenber the last Lord of the Rings, was long as heck.
As for Heidi being in Breaking Dawn make sense because The Volturi brought the whole guard and she is part of the guard.
1. Delete the scenes for 1. sex 2. edward rip her stomach apart.
2. DON'T MAKE THOSE SCENES AT ALL!
It must be into a movie.........
seriously look at how they made benjamin freakin buttonnn
they can make breakind dawn definmatelyyyyyyyyyyy
as far as stephanie's concerns she states on her website that her biggest concern is the baby... she thinks it would have to be CGI and that it wont be that advanced yet... hmmm... I have seen some older babies play a younger roll... so we shall see... if they use real babies though they will have to be twins due to the amount of time a child can actually be onset.
However, that being said, Breaking Dawn presented some very GOOD points that I enjoyed, one of them being Jacob's strengthening relationship with Seth and Leah. I think we all needed to see Jacob dwell or feel something for someone other than Bella and his protectiveness and dependance on Seth and even his growing understanding of Leah showed that the book was not entirely centered on Bella's relationships for once. (Maybe I'm just biased though because Bella was the most annoying she's ever been in Breaking Dawn. Opinion, yes I know, but one shared by many.)
That being said, I DO think Breaking Dawn should be filmed. Most people who say "I'm not going to see it because it's so weird and bizarre" will inevitably buckle under the pressure. Yes the character's in New Moon are completely different, yes Nessie's character is laughable, yes Bella reaches a new level of annoying and yes, it is slightly fanfiction-esque and unbelievable compared to the normal level of fantasy it presents, BUT, Breaking Dawn IS a part of the series and the producers can mend some of the area's that fall short. Like I said, as much as I don't like it, I'll go and see it. The characters however different they are are still there as well as the action, romance, drama and ultimately the Twilight charm that we all like.
Furthermore, it IS fiction. And in fiction, anything is possible. For those of us who have taken the time to re-read the books . . . we have had no problem bonding with the new characters introduced in BD. I love Kate and Garrett and the women from South America. You seem like a person who prefers the wolves and a little bitter that Bella ends up a vampire afterall. Perhaps?
And finally, you say "most people ignored it and stopped the series at Eclipse." What freaking plant do you live on? BD broke publishing records the day it was released. This is just laughable. For many readers, BD is their favorite book of the series. I respect your opinion but do NOT try to speak for Twilight Saga fans a whole.
my thoughts are this:
twilight, newmoon, eclipse, AND breakingdawn are ALL part of the twilight saga. If they stop at the 3rd book/movie...then they are falling short of the whole story line. You cant have a song without music type thing. All 4 books belong together. As does all the movies. SOOOOOOO what if the movie seems "impossible" that doesnt matter. To the devoted fans the movie should go on! Nessie is a HUGE part of the life between edward and bella. The fans that have read the books understand the part that the last book has. It ties everything last string together. With all the technology and advanced media there is, then there shouldnt be any reason to quit at eclipse. Now with the whole rated "R" thing... i myself, could live with the movie being rated R... im 21...so that doesnt matter to me, but however i do believe most the teenagers that love the story or the books will be over 17 by the time the new movie comes out...so rated R or not...its not going to be that big of an issue..and if there are kids that are under 17...im pretty sure the mom's will be more then willing to take there kids to see the moive because they have stayed with the whole plot line and they prob. believe that edward is the PREFECT type of "GUY" that there daughter....should find. So...in all honistly...THEY better make breaking dawn... or my love for the movie will deterate... i will NOT be happy if they only make 3 and not all 4 so count me in as one to believe that breaking dawn BETTER be made...there is NO excusse.
and this "relationship" that u seem to think is inappropreate between jacob and nessie is NOT EVEN LIKE THAT...if u feel that way im sry...but read closer...
jacob's imprinting isnt volentary, he wanted to kill nessie to begin with
and plus
jacob doesnt look at her that way... he just looks at her like he's her protecter
a care giver
a person to always be there if she needs someone...thats all..
he is not worried about being her lover or something else...gezzzzz
but as i said...u have ur opinion as do others...
I think fans have had enough disappointments what with what happened to Midnight Sun being postponed/ cancelled, without only adapting the first three books to movies.
i wood hate it if they wrecked an young adult book just becasue Summitt is afraid that the younger girls wont be able to see it.
It isnt a children books and we need to see the sex scnenes and Nessie's birth scnene. The are essential to the story.
It would sucks if Summitt turned BD into another HSM disney love story just to please younger audiences.
I mean, having they heard of Twiligh Mom's, there are many older audience's that will get totally bored if its PG-13
So, to finish off, three movies would just break the hearts of young girls all over the world and it MUST be made!
the only thing i am worried about is renesmee, because if they use CGI affects and they turn out crappy it could ruin the whole movie
i hope it works out though, i hope its like in cinemas by December 2010
