Twilight is the novel that get my heart so much but not the movie. How romantic the novel is.Well built story which is damaged by a rough screen play. Most of people do not read. If they do so, they can understand what is the difference.It is not even depicted in the movie how she feels for him.No girl can fell in love with a vampire that easy.I first read the book, so it was a joke to watch the movie.English is not my mother tongue,so I wish someone will translate this in to my language for the sake of book lovers in my lovely country. if i have the authority & time I do not hesitate to do so. NOVEL IS LOVELY. I do not much interested to see other movies on this series as i have only to buy Breaking down. Spending on the novel series is worth.

Can some one tell me what the first book/film was called?? I'm getting really lost trying to get into it after watching New Moon for the first time on Sky over the weekend!!

I think Taylor Lautner is going to impress. A good actor can pull it off. I think he has the ability to become a great actor.

I agree about Kristen's acting. I watched one of her earlier movie's Disney's Catch that Kid and she was the same dry character. She was also in Zathura, where I was unimpressed with her.

well, i am comenting on the whole tayler is not a good enough actor for jacob. but i think he is perfect! in new moon, he looks taller, buffer, and older, witch is exactly how he is saposed to look! in the book, he has a grouth spirt, gets really buff, and looks a lot older than he really is. beside, we cant alwayes have the perfect actor, because this is a fiction thing we are dealing with. so...... we have to be happy with taylor, he is the closest thing you can get to the real jacob. and of you want to really make a comparison on twilight book/movie to new moon book/movie. YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO READ THE BOOKS FIRST!

i love twilight so much!! actually i'm now in 3rd book of twilight saga! me and my classmate bought the candy magazine because robert pattinson, kristen stewart are both in november issue,. we also bought the special edition of candy mag. that features taylor lautner and kristen.. Ashley greene, nikki reed, and dakota fanning are very beautiful. also rachel lefevre. i also love jacob's great ABS!! i love the big transformation!!

Why is Jasper in the New Moon scene at the high school. He graduated the June before with Rosaline and Emmett. Someone made a big mistake in there timeline and did not even come close to the book.

This was posted forever ago(I just had to say something because the Sookie Stackhouse series is my favorite)... but I read somewhere that Stephenie Meyer said she has never read vampire books.

But I can totally see where you're coming from; I thought the same too.
But The Sookie Stackhouse series is a thousand times different than Twilight. The entire world knows about these vampires. Some of the vampires drink Japanese synthetic blood. Sookie is a 20-some year old telepath that works at a bar and her boss is a shape-shifter(he can turn into any animal). She goes out with this vampire named Bill for a while, and then starts going out with a 1,000 year old Viking vampire. She also is invloved with a weretiger for a little bit. Sookie has fairy blood, and has a fairy godmother named Claudine. She has a roommate named Amelia that is a witch. Her brother is part werepanther after being bitten by a full-blooded one. Her grandmother was brutally murdered by a vampire hater because he was trying to get to Sookie and she was in the way. There is also a church called Fellowship of the Sun that consists of vampire haters. They have kingdoms and queendoms. Oh, and quite graphic sex scenes.
Shall I continue on the differences?

The blood typing was my favorite part to. I think they defintally rushed twilight, they missed so important bits and edward and bells relationship went really fast. But i hope that new moon will be better, the books have a funny quirk to them and want that to be in the movies , lol like i get to laugh before i might start crying if that makes sense

I loved the first twilight until i read the book and went back to watch the movie and then i realized that it was horrible!!! it was like oh they met, oh hes a vampire, and oh guess what they are now in love. there was no building of character or of that love! I cant believe they took out the blood typing part, my favorite part in the book. i wish there was some way they could still incorporate it. and i hope kristen steps up her acting, Bella has a funny sense of humor that i hope they can somehow bring out in the movie.

I totally agree! I have my opinions about the both the movies (the first one sucked, the second will be good). but that is all. We are lucky there are even movies out there... stop complaining, and just go see the movie or don't... because you know that no matter what they do with the movies you are going to go see them anyway... don't even lie to yourself, because you know you will go see it no matter what.

and coincidentally, my last name actually is Cullen! it would be really wierd if I lived in washington, but I live on the opposite side of the country in Florida! And I love the series, and I think the movies are ok, but will never capture the essence of the movie in my head while I am reading it.
