Why on earth was it not mentioned in the movie about Jasper's power? *shakes fist at CH and MR*
All they had to do was at the spot where Edward tells Bella that Alice "sees things" he could also have easily said," and Jasper has a calming effect when things start to become too much to handle."
So many missing elements in the movie that CW has to go back and pick up on....mainly that there was any romance at all!!!
Like i have said New Moon will be 100 times better then Twilight. I can't wait :)

one reason why I hated Twilight the movie is cause they didnt showcase Jasper's personality or powers.......so now when people who did not read the book watch the movie they arent going to feel sorry for him the way I did after he attacked bella, hopefully they show more of his personality too, like his powers before he attacks.
So glad they're finally making his power known to everyone. :D I really cant wait to see him in action... *swoon*
oh and Eclipse. Really cant wait for that, lots of Jasper. Anxious to see more acting from him. He barely had a part in Twilight.

My only problem w/ Jackson's comment is him saying he affects one's mental state. The books are very clear about Jasper affecting the physical...since that's the only explanation as to why he can calm Bella.
Nitpicking, I know. Can't help it when I know the books inside and out. /geek
it was also lame how Bella's Lullaby wasn't mentioned in twilight, i know that when edward was playing the piano it was suppose to be her lullaby, but i still wish they had an actual conversation about it. people who haven't read the book wouldn't of known! and the lullaby becomes more important in NM, like when edward burns it on the CD. i realllly hope it gets mentioned!
Can't wait to see more backstory for Carlisle, Jasper and Rosalie in the rest of the movies.
