They aren't going to be actually doing any lesbian sex scenes come on there is however a kissing scene do not listen to rumors remember what the rumors were implying about Hounddog they said it was controversial and featured a graphic child rape scene that wasn't true rumors always make something and nothing into something heavy they thrive on publicity remember dakota is only 15

They don't look exactly like the Runaways at that time. At that time, The Runaways had Jackie Fox, not Robin. What a wasted opportunity to really have it look the same. So distracting when you know. Why couldn't they just use them all?

Kristen looks amazing and I am looking forward to her in this role.
Part of the story is a hookfup with Jett and Cherie, but it is a small part of this film.
No one was weirded out when Rob played a gay man with some very risque scenes with his costar and he was only what 19 or 20? He filmed it the year before Twilight so we are talking 3-4 years ago. They are actors who take on challenges and I respect what they do.

I think that mostly anything that the twilight characters do is seen as acceptable... it is sad that this girl is 15 years old and doing these things... maturity? my a$$ this is awful and how much creepier and more exceptions of our values are we going to go along with... sad just sad... i am a fan of twilight and where do we draw lines... where are dakotas parents? how is she allowed at the age of 15 total freedom with these people that are so much older? imagine if it was another 15 year old that had nothing to do with twilight, we wouldn't be going along with it... just my opinion...

15 IS young, she is still a child. A "teen" but definitely not an adult.

But I do agree with you that she is mature, at least in the way she handles her roles and the media. She deserves a great deal of respect. I have high hopes for her career - I don't see her becoming a trainwreck like some of the other girls out there.

Agreed.

I have no problem with any lesbian stuff. But creepy middle-aged men are already pawing at 15 y/o Dakota and I just hate to think what the comments are going to be once they see this movie. Dakota and Kristen are serious actresses and don't deserve to be disrespected.

She might have just tried it out. Apparently people liked to "experiment" back then... if you know what i mean ;). But i also don't know much about Joan Jett so idk? Maybe she is a lesbian. I don't think she looks like one, she just looks like someone who tries out new things.

I think its great Dakota and Kristen took on these rolls though. Got to have a variety of acting experiances to open up more opportunities for the future :).
