Love Joan Jett too. I used to sing I love Rock N Roll with my hairbrush when I was little, and actually last week too.
I wonder if her haircut is the spikey, mullet hair Joan had in the 80s and if she's going to color it black.

And for those of you saying Kristen is not a good actress because of her mannerisms. A lot of actors and actresses that are known to be excellent have the same mannerisms in every movie they are in. I think that a lot of you are judging her on Twilight alone. I do not see how any of you could say that she stunk in Speak, The Cake Eaters, Panic Room or Into the Wild. I also thought she did ok in The Messengers.
Twilight was not her best work, but I don't think that she should be judged on that. Kristen has a lot of potential and is going to be an amazing Joan Jett. Like I have said before there is a reason she was cast. So stop hating.
I do respect others opinions even if I don't necessarily agree.
I watched the movie "Speak" and I think Kristen did an amazing job in that movie! Compared to Twilight, I think she was much better in "Speak", even tho I dont think she was bad in twilight either. I just wish she could have showed a bit more emotions in Twilight. Im looking forward to the "break-up scene" with Edward in New Moon, cause from what I've seen in the trailer, she looks great (as in actually really SAD and heartbroken).
When this is said, I just have to say that I adore Kristen! I love her as a person :))
Everyone has the right to their own opinions, as do I. I love Kristen Stewart and will take up for her anytime someone is bashing her because that is what a fan does. I did not mean for any one to take my comments personally.
Usually people who bash her on here are using her performance in Twilight and not any of her others. That would be the reason for my comment.
I do respect other people's opinions, but I do not apologize for my mine. I think Kristen is the best actress her age right now. I can not think of anyone comparable.

She's been in alot of movies with some big time actresses...like Jodie Foster, Meg Ryan,and Diane Lane to
name a few. I thinks she's great! = )
that in MY opinion I really like Kristen in those movies.
.it's sometimes all in the directing..yes if a actor can act; the director can influence how they potray their role on film..the director might want them to do things a certain way differnet than they would do it..i highly think that CH directed twilight with poor taste thus making the actors look like they couldn't act.. even rob; i didn't think that was his best....look at the difference in NM..just a little clip of Laurent and bella in the meadow makes my heart jumps and i say; "now; thats some real effin acting"....so a director and also a script influences the acting ability of an actor sometimes.. i know many actors who suck in other movies..the great will smith suck in hancock; which i still like...but then he was brillant in the pursuit of happyness....even leonardo and others had movies they didn't do well in....
I don't particularly see anything wrong with keeping in a low tone.. she doesn't have to be over the top to be good. I'm not saying she was fantastic in Twilight, but she probably has a better grip on it now. I can appreciate all forms.. actors who go all out with the emotions are awesome, but I can appreciate subtle shifts in emotion. I think she did that particularly well in Cake Eaters.
Can't wait to see her as Joan Jett :) Bet she secretly glad to shed that Bella hair for a while :)

It`s a little bit funny.. in the beginning I sort of didn`t care that much for Kristen..I just thought she was so weird... But she has grown so much on me and now I love her and how original she is!

I think Kris is a serious and devoted actress. Some actresses will choose to wear wigs instead of cutting their own hair in '80 style. Of course, hair will grow back, but it shows that she really puts her heart and soul into this role. Good luck Kristen. I love you. Can't wait to see the movie.

Just wanted to say that I think it's so great to see all the positive response from everyone (well almost everyone) here regarding Kristen!! I really like her and I think she's really cool and perfect as Bella! I also saw Speak a few weeks ago, and man she was great in that!!!
Anyway, I really like that everyone is so supportive of her! Also, I really hope we get to see some pics soon with her reunited with Rob, would be sooo cute! But I guess that won't happen anytime soon as they are both ready to start filming anyday now. Oh well, guess we have to wait until August.
