    Taylor Lautner IS THE PERFECT Jacob Black, nobody can replace him!! With technology, wardrobe and make-up they can make himself taller, bulkier and a bit more older. DON'T REPLACE TAYLOR!!

    then wouldn't it be suicide for Summit to replace the guy?

    i mean.. so many fans will be pissed.. ofcourse people will still see the movie but to some kicking off Catherine was strike 1, and kicking off Taylor would be strike 2...



    I don't know if fans will be happy when they replace Taylor with Copon.. ( i heard the guy's a terrible actor :/) alot WILL be happy when they replave him with Strait, but i think we can all agree that for the continuity.. everyone wnats Taylor back for NM..



    PLUS.. the guy is training so hard.. give him a chance.. do a little screentest with him or whatever and show it to the fans and Stephenie and THEN decide if he's good enough or not..

    PLEASE Summit keep Taylor. I know you're all big headed with the sucess of Twilight, but your not quite on a playing field that you can do whatever you want. This franchise is run by the fans, and Taylor is quite obviously a fan favourite. He was been working so hard to prepare for New Moon, so at least give him a chance and look at the options: Keep Taylor, and do something to make him appear bigger, or literally face the wrath of angry Twilighters. You already replaced Catherine, a person who honestly loved the books and did all she could to connect with fans as much as possible. Replacing Taylor would be suicide.

    I agree with Lisette, she has the best idea. SInce the fans made the movie as big as it is. (I saw it 6 times and my children are fans as well) listen to the fans. Let us decide who we want in the part of Jacob. I say KEEP TAYLOR. My 7yr old cried when he found out that Taylor might not be in NM.

    Becca Cullen, Michael is NOT a wanna be. He is a very nice guy that would portray OLDER LOOKING Jacob way better than any CGI-bulked-up Taylor. So get used to the fact that he MIGHT be taking over. Personally, I would be just FINE with that. Taylor was awesome but we DO need someone to play the after-transformed Jacob and both STEVEN and MICHAEL are a GREAT option!

    He's so cute and adorable, but I really don't think he would work for the 'transformed' Jacob...but then again if they out right replace him with another older looking character New Moon would be ruined. They should have him reprise the role of Jake until he 'transforms' then have another older looking actor. Don't get me wrong, this kid is adorable, and is shown real strong desire to keep the role I just don't see him as the end of New Moon/Eclipse Jake that we all come to know.

    Hmm, i have to agree with some you know. I'm a big Twilight fan and a transformed and older-looking Jacob is more suited for Steven Strait or Michael Copon. Sure CGI can do its effects on the hardworking Lautner (aww but i do really think he's cute and doing his best) and consistency is good, but a more or less close to the real deal Jacob in New Moon (taller, older, bulkier, edgier) is SUITED to other actors. I prefer Michael Copon because he doesn't have a big movie under his name yet. Unlike Strait who's not that unknown already (e.g. he has The Covenant and 10,000 BC). So, MICHAEL Copon is good for the New Moon.

    i hope they keep taylor. its not just consistency. i mean the whole thing is thrown off when you through in a new actor. plus if Copon is a bad actor than its going to a put a dent on the movie. he's not all that great looking, and if im not mistaken isnt Jacob younger than bella? so i think keep taylor as jacob, that way not only will the fans shut up (myself included) but you can also prevent a giant and potentially deadly mob from breaking out. cause trust me, i will be the first one picketing!
