i hope they keep taylor. its not just consistency. i mean the whole thing is thrown off when you through in a new actor. plus if Copon is a bad actor than its going to a put a dent on the movie. he's not all that great looking, and if im not mistaken isnt Jacob younger than bella? so i think keep taylor as jacob, that way not only will the fans shut up (myself included) but you can also prevent a giant and potentially deadly mob from breaking out. cause trust me, i will be the first one picketing!

Tayolor was good for the Jacob in Twilight, but Michael Copon is such the better choice for New Moon. He's older, more mature, built better, HOTTER... all around perfect!!! you'll see, if they choose him....

Hmm, i have to agree with some you know. I'm a big Twilight fan and a transformed and older-looking Jacob is more suited for Steven Strait or Michael Copon. Sure CGI can do its effects on the hardworking Lautner (aww but i do really think he's cute and doing his best) and consistency is good, but a more or less close to the real deal Jacob in New Moon (taller, older, bulkier, edgier) is SUITED to other actors. I prefer Michael Copon because he doesn't have a big movie under his name yet. Unlike Strait who's not that unknown already (e.g. he has The Covenant and 10,000 BC). So, MICHAEL Copon is good for the New Moon.

He's so cute and adorable, but I really don't think he would work for the 'transformed' Jacob...but then again if they out right replace him with another older looking character New Moon would be ruined. They should have him reprise the role of Jake until he 'transforms' then have another older looking actor. Don't get me wrong, this kid is adorable, and is shown real strong desire to keep the role I just don't see him as the end of New Moon/Eclipse Jake that we all come to know.
