I feel like such a dork posting here as I am probably the only adult. Yes, the movie was not as good as the book...has a movie EVER been as good as it's book if it has been based on one? NO...it's to be expected. But, it wasn't necessarily a BAD movie either...don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it was good, but rather entertaining, which I believe is the general purpose of a movie. If you want to watch a GOOD movie, don't go see something about teenage vampires, seriously people, common sense here. As for this Michael Copon guy, I don't think they could have done a better job if they do use him. He does resemble Taylor Lautner, a taller....older....sexier version of him, whats the problem again now? I don't know about his acting, but all the acting is mediocre in this movie so it can't be that bad. Steven Strait would be just as good too, also very attractive. Even if the movie is bad I will watch it just for the yummy eye candy...unless they keep only Taylor Lautner, that's a bit young for my taste.

Taylor Lautner is native american, and Michael Copon is filipino. Jacob is supposed to be native american, replacing him with a filipino guy makes no sense. That would be like replacing Edward with a girl and making it a lesbian movie. Might be cool, but it just isn't right for twilight. Sorry Michael, you fail.

He is VERY CONFIDENT and was VERY RIGHT about Bella's feelings for him!
And lets not forget hes just a kid! How many 16 yr old teenage boys with raging hormones do you know that act like gentleman..........wasnt there something on the news about a 12 yr old boy that is having a baby??? Obviously tenneage hormones are hard to keep in check!

Ok, Steven Strait DOES look like an older Taylor Lautner, BUT...either way you cut it, they're gonna have to do some CGI or whatever because Jacob grows to be what 7 feet tall??? There is NO ONE who looks native american, is 7 ft tall,around 26 yrs old, and really beefed up...among other things, SOOOOOO they should just keep Taylor b/c everyone sees him as Jacob and I feel he has Jacob's signiture traits, big smile, white teeth, really happy go lucky, innocent, thing going on.
