It's the single officers that don't have a family support system that I feel bad for. You have to have something that counters all the sh*t you see in the world.
Not just dead bodies, but the way people live and treat their kids. It absolutely amazes me. I have mucho respect for our Juvenile Division. I could never do that shiznit.

You get used to patterns of behavior with people to tell that they are lying.
I remember my first year as a cop, I pretty much believed everyone's sob stories. I was taken to the side at one point during training and was told "Heather, you have got to be a b&*ch or you are going to get run over."
I didn't fully understand that until later on. But it is so true in this profession.
My side of the family are all democrats and very liberal minded. They have had to get used to my opinions over the years. :)

well that was months ago. someone posted a link of the NM script so i asked for it. i went to the link and downloaded it. days after, someone asked about it again. i told her that i have it. they asked for it so i gave them through email. then agava and i started talking about it, (not even the script itself), just those scenes that should be there blah, blah.. before we knew it, our comments have been removed one by one. and we're like "ooops.. sorry Will!" hehehehe. so yup. thats it. im not mean or anything. i just didnt know better NOT to spoil the others. hehehe. ^_^

family's doing good, 7yo did her Brownie Enrollment last night... LOL - me & my twi-bud were watching the iPod New Moon "featurettes" while we were waiting for it to start... :D
YOU ARE AWESOME!! So you are not the leader? I was for a while. Then I moved so couldn't continue. My sister's oldest is a brownie and my sister FREAKED when she signed up to help with a daylong camp out and realized she had to lead songs and cook over an open fire! I so wish i had been there!

LOL, funny about your sister - I LOVE music, I was the Division Music Advisor last year... having a background in music, it was a natural for me. I'm missing being a leader this year, because I miss the girls - but I do NOT miss the headaches... my police record check is still valid, as is my first aid, so I volunteer for the fun stuff... ;)
LOVE Make New Friends... *sigh* there are so many awesome songs... my 11yo learned a really pretty harmony for barges in school, so we sing it together... family went camping over the Canada Day weekend this year... and my 7yo and I sat by the campfire and sang for like an hour & a half... LMAO

yup, my youngest is in her first year Brownies, my oldest is in 3 year guides - they've both been involved right from Sparks, I was a leader until this year... LOL I think my Twilight obsession pushed down my "free time" :D
BTW - did I tell you I'm a classically trained singer? I've studied voice since I was seven & don't you DARE think I'm gonna tell you how long I've studied.

I've studied & performed for over 20 years. CRAP Did I just give away my age? SHOOT!!!! *wink*
oooh.... I was only able to take private voice for 1 year in college... the same time I first took private flute lessons... but I was the classic band geek... flute in band through junior high & high school. Choir, performing arts & drama in high school...LOL, I sang tenor in HMS Pinafore, how funny is that? I worked as an assistant conductor for a youth chorus for 3 years, was the musical director of a musical just when hubby & I started dating, chorister for both children & congregation at church for several years....
Taught private flute lessons until I moved - transferred to a new city for work. Now I'm the choir director for our Church, still play the flute but very sporadically (read: why, I'd LOVE to play for the Christmas program! LOL)
Ive had the chance to work with some amazing people, though, and have traveled through the UK, over to Japan, and in the US & Canada with marching bands.
Yeah, when you can say... I've played for over 24 years, and you didn't start until junior high, then you can whine to me about your age, m'kay? :D

Money can be attributed to a lot of things, but someone's own creativity, eye for detail, and visual style is something that is a rare commodity in this industry. You can see this in every aspect of the movie with the cinematography, the CGI, the wardrobe, the details from the book, the camera angles, catching the intimacy, and now the make up.
I am just so overwhelmed, and I haven't even seen the movie yet. :)

im doing good. still the same old, boring me. hehehe. i called earlier in one of the cinemas here. asked about the nm showing on the 19th bcoz i heard they have it there. but sadly they dont have it so im stuck with the 20th premier which i already bought. *sigh* ok, i know i already have one for the 20th. i just want to watch earlier u know... ^_^
Seems like everybody have their tickets already!! The cinemas around here haven't even started selling them yet! I'm so pi$$ed!!! I can't stand the thought that I may not actually get the tickets for the midnight showing *cringes*
Saturdays are a fun day. My 2nd job is at a specialty pet store and my dog comes with me. The manager, her 2 dogs, my dog , and I play while working so it does go by quick...
BUT she needs to calm down a little first. LOL
I LOVE HER! AND she is VERY spoiled (as Nutty and H2b can attest to...)
ours was a pure bred dauschaund. *sigh* that cute little, long thing. hehehe. she's deaf so that was such a fun times. we'd call her but we'd end up being ignored. unless she would us then she'd bounce up and down and run all over. hehehe. good times.. good times... ^_^
We are now in an advanced class and she can do (but doesn't like to) non-verbal, verbal, and combination off leash as well as all on leash commands. We are starting the 'Find me' game to lead to scent discrimination. She LOVES 'find me' and literally does this gazelle like leap as she runs around looking for me with her floppy ears perked up like piggy tails and her stumpy tail wagging. she is so much fun!
She knows sit, down, flat (as in flat on her side with her head on the floor), heel, let's go, stand, come, 'drop' (while coming to me I say or signal down and she immediately drops into a down), walking with me 'down', automatic sit while heeling (I stop-she sits), up, say hi, leave it, gentle, release (drop whatever you have in your mouth), and free time (her release word to go play). OH and shake (in the shower after her bath or when on the porch after the rain - not in the house LOL)
We need to work on paw/shake
WOW. she knows a lot of stuff now huh? thats good then.. for she'll behave more with the coming training and all... but wow.. she knows tons of stuff except the paw/shake??? i thought thats the first thing dogs learn? hehehe ^_^
I also want to teach her the balance a cookie on her nose thing...
Almost all of her commands are based off of the basic Sit, Heal, Down, Stay and Come (OH! and 'let's go' AKA loose lead walking). Just branched out (the walking with me and while walking, on command drop into a down). Dave (her trainer) used to train police dogs, PLUS D loves him to death! If we have an off week then she and I have to stop in to visit...
The break downs are cool and she is so good at heal that she and I can do right and left about turns (there is no command BUT it is a skill - Some European country list of commands) on and off leash.
YES! Delilah and I spend A LOT of time together. I sound obsessed with her in her!

Have you seen Romero Britto's work? It's very bright colorful modern Picasso. I absolutely love it for a kid's room. I want to use his style and put the book covers on the wall in that style.
i.e. a hand holding an apple the chess pieces the ribbon and the flower.. all huge taking up each of the four walls. If I have a girl of course. If it's a boy then I will do a Britto style wolf and Lion and Lamb.

Although I love Chris Weitz and what he has done (from what we have seen) of New Moon... and I would pick him ANY DAY over Hardwicke..... I HATE!!!! how they dress Edward and do his make up in New Moon.
He is all in suits and weird stuff and this is NOT the edward cullen we fell in love with. yes, alice dresses him in designer clothes but what happened to the good old grey coat we saw him in in Twilight. and the look of him when he first walked into the cafeteria in Twilight. He is not as appealing and perfect in New Moon.
