Summit seems like a foolish prod.company right now, but I guess there is two sides to one story. I just hoping that this new girls dad didn`t have anything to do with it (I heard he was this really powerfull "thingy" and she has got bigger part because of him before...I dont know)
It will be so strange having another girl play Victoria after we see NM and get even more used to Rachelle. Had it just been after the first,Twilight, I wouldnt have thought of it that much (I do like Rachelle a lot, but she had a small part..), but now there is only one book left, why change now..? Stupid!
Rachelle was so eager to start filming Eclipse, she talked about it with so much enthusiasm before... and she was the one who always sounded like being very dedicated to the Saga. She was looking forward to some new wirework for Eclipse and told about her practicing some moves. She was totally getting ready for this part!! I’m still in shock.
You’re right, every coin has two sides, but I have some gut feeling that this decision is only in the advantage of Summit somehow and has everything to do with the dollars-and-cents and Ron Howard is a big shot in movie business so they just kiss his butt...
I loved Rachelle as Victoria, and Eclipse was her moment to shine!! Or sparkle... LOL I am really sad that we’re not going to see her anymore after New Moon!!

We at Summit Entertainment are disappointed by Rachelle Lefevre’s recent comments which attempt to make her career choices the fault of the Studio. Her decision to discuss her version of the scheduling challenges publicly has forced the Studio to set the record straight and correct the facts.
Ms. Lefevre's representatives were advised as early as April that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE was expected to start shooting in early August.
If Ms. Lefevre was, as she describes “passionate,” about being part of THE TWILIGHT SAGA, we feel that she and her representatives would have included us in her decision to work on another film that would conflict with the shooting schedule of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.
It was not until July 20th that Summit was first informed of Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to BARNEY’S VERSION, a commitment we have since been advised she accepted in early June. Summit had acted in good faith that she would be available to fulfill her obligations both in terms of rehearsals and shooting availability for THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. We feel that her choice to withhold her scheduling conflict information from us can be viewed as a lack of cooperative spirit which affected the entire production.
Furthermore Ms. Lefevre took a role in the other film that places her in Europe during the required rehearsal time, and at least ten days of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE’s principal photography. This period is essential for both rehearsal time with the cast, and for filming at key locations that are only available during the initial part of production.
Contrary to Ms. Lefevre’s statement, it is simply untrue that the Studio dismissed her over a ten day overlap. It is not about a ten day overlap, but instead about the fact that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE is an ensemble production that has to accommodate the schedules of numerous actors while respecting the established creative vision of the filmmaker and most importantly the story.
The fact remains that Ms. Lefevre’s commitment to the other project - which she chose to withhold from Summit until the last possible moment - makes her unfortunately unavailable to perform the role of Victoria in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE.

First, I love the character Victoria that Rachelle played, and the outgoing and protwilight she has ever been...
Second, I´m totally sure that Summit wouldnt want to change a bit of what is giving them what they want...money...and I repeat again that they have found their treasure with this franchise and they acommodate to everything...When CH wasnt going to direct new moon inmediately CW wrote a beautiful letter and Stephenie support and summit support, Taylor recast for new moon, David Slade remarks which made him almost loose the job, they made him apologize and again stephenie...I mean they know that if they please us they will have big revenues at the cinemas...so I still can´t believe they happily erased Rachelle from the Map...
Third: Is it true that Rachelle didnt tell until July 20th that she was leaving to Europe and that she wouldn´t be the first ten days, photoshoots, rehearshals in locations? One thing I know for sure, the Eclipse cast knew from April the exact date when they had to start working and everyone, I mean everyone, match their calendars to that ( including Rob and Kristen).
How is it possible if she agreeded to play that role in that movie in June didnt´ tell until more than a month later, she already knew the dates (everyone did) or maybe she expected that the production somehow changed schedule attending to her demands, which will create a problem because all the other actors would ask for the same in the following movie BD...
So, I´m sure that Rachelle is not happy but Summit isnt happy either, they know what they are dealing with and it wasnt at all in their agenda to change the smallest character in the movies to come ( an incredible legacy of Catherine Hardwick i must say) this cast is simply perfect and beautiful...so
