i am speechless with this trailer, i won't say anything else.
kristen u kill me, first i was with my mouth open when u won best kiss(it was obvious) and was thinking are they really going to do it and not nothing happens, then u drop the award i was laughing(rob was too of course and it was so bella).
we won almost everything, paramore loosed(which sucks) and cam loosed(well nobody could take that award from heith ledger) other than that it was awesome.
I can't thank them enough for making me this happy. This particular period in my life will never be forgotten. I am imprisoning it in my heart in my entire lifetime so they live with me now and forever...
btw, finally the "I LOVE YOU" was that hard to say?, catherine did u take that, thanks chris i know he made mellisa put in in the script for this one.
I think that is the part (with Jake) when Paul is coming at Bella and Jacob "morphs on the fly". Because if you remember in that part of New Moon. Emby and Quil made a point of saying how much of a natural Jake was because he can morph like that ....

ok,, now that ive cooled down.. whooh.. laurant (edi) rocked in every shot!!! Jacob.. hmm i dont know so much, his body is amazing, but the childish features still bug me a little... The only shot that looked genuine of kristen was the part where she asks edward to kiss her. THATS IT! she looked so fake in all the other shots!! unbelievable.. i really hope the rest of the movie is not like that..
As for robert, there was a few scenes which made me cringe but i loved the part where he says "this is the last time youll see me" i think that was his best moment in that clip... so im pretty happy with him..
but kristen, im very generally dissapointed so far.
but ummm..... why was Jake alone when he attacked Laurent? he was supposed to be with his pack already transformed as wolf... she didnt know it was him but when she saw the wolf, it reminded her as Jake...
but deside that lol IT WAS AWESOME

OMG the bday & breakup scene made me cry! :(
I was extremely pleased with everything except Jacob as the wolf. He isn't huge. Stephenie had him as large a horse and his fur was russet colored...not with grey in it and a normal size wolf..... I also noticed they were dressed for her party at Edward's house when he said he'd die without her... they were suppose to be a her house watching Romeo & Juliet...
I hope they don't alter too much more of the story... I'm worried that they took out the marriage proposal... that's key to the next two books....
im okay with changes just dont go so overboard as cathering did with twilight and we are cool =D
I noticed the lighting looks more normal in this one. Catherine had everything with that overlayed color.... I just hope they keep to the book as much as possible... I was disappointed in Twilight that so much of their "getting to know you" (blood typing, discussions, movie in class) wasn't in the movie.
But I am overall excited for the movie. I think it will be good. I am just a little worried since I'm such a fan of the books....
did anyone noticed that edward's clothes when he said goodbye was same with the birthday's outfit?..it supposed to be different cos in the book he say gudbye after they came back from school...
If you pay attention to Bella's clothes. she's wearing a complete different outfit when she yells for jake to run then when she's with laurent. i think the setting just looked familiar.
But the part where she yells for him to run, doesn't she have a dream about that after she finds out the truth about jake? i'm pretty sure she does. so thats what i think that is. it just fit too perfectly.
trust me. i nearly had a heart attack because of that too. but i feel better now :]
but yes they are going to have to shorten every movie!!!!!!

Other than that, it was pretty quiet. I am glad the awards show is over though - maybe now we can get the f*ck away from Catherine Hardwicke - she seriously annoys me. and I was super irritated this weekend with all the press she was getting cause of that awards show. LOL

I loved the acting, the clip of Bella curled in the forest looked so much like my favorite poster that I actually screamed!!! I think Kristen is doing a good job, remember she didn't actually cry when Edward left her in the book but instead just slipped into a catatonic state just lying there letting the rain fall onto her. The birthday scene was great (though I've never had a paper cut that actually made me spill blood on the carpet...ah well)
The transformation scene as I said is like how I pictured it but I will admit that it is obviously CGI, I was hoping for better graphics but then everyone here has to remember this is all a ROUGHT CUT! They have BARELY started Post Production, very little editing and enhancement has happened yet so they still have time to clean things up and make things flow better.
All in all, well done. I'm not a purist when it comes to book to movie scripts so as long as the essence of the book is maintained then I'm happy. So far I'm estactic.
But I say almost because I still don't care for the wig that Jackson Rathbone has to wear for Jasper's character. His role in this 2nd installment of the saga is pivotal and to have to see him running towards Bella with that hair (when she got the papercut) truly made me cringe. He's such a handsome and talented actor and to see that very little attention was taken to keep him just as handsome for Jasper's role really hurts.
I really hope that this IS just a rough cut and that they do more to enhance Jasper's look in the movie.
I am so looking forward to seeing the movie in November!!!

remember in the book hoe Jacob was having growth spruts? In every scene he was getting bigger and taller as the sequels went from New Moon to Eclipse to Breaking Dawn. In this book he just became a wolf so he's not that huge. But i think in Breaking Dawn when they are facing the Volturi he will be larger because of the constant growth spruts.
But yeah, good point.. about him getting taller over time. I do hope they makes the wolves a *little* scaries looking, though! It did look a little Shrek-cartoon-like to me. Transformation part was great, though!
SO, to all the people who are skeptical about the trailer, just remember how much more they've left out for the actual movie. And every person is dedicated to remaining faithful to the book, so they'll put a lot into their roles and I'm more than positive that the whole movie is going to be mind-blowingly brilliant. HOW HOT IS EDWARD WHEN HE PUSHES JASPER?!! I was like DAYYMEEE Rob, you can throw me around any day lol
And while I'm on the subject of Rob being sexy, how good did he look last night??? Yum-my.

now i agree alex....as i watch the trailer again and again; i think they just throw something together for us fans real quick to let us see because the scene are not in order and stuff...i am now getting it and i feel like they will re-release it... i think the vamps are pale enough; it's just the lightening in the house that makes them look like that..remeber in twilight when bella and edward were at dinner and how the lightening make him look kinda different.....
like i said; people need to relax and not be too hasty; u know CW is still editing scenes and doing post-production on everything...we all know the movie will not be like the book; so far it looks better than twilight did seriously...i aint really complaining because it's too early to judge and honestly i cannot judge based on that trailer.. my only problem is i am hoping that that's not how bella finds jacob's a wolf; because that will be a huge deviation from the book.....so seen that makes me feel that this is not the actual trailer..chilax people

AGGHHH!!!! the acting!!!!!!!!!!!! gaah! im kinda pissed. man the biggest most fundamental scene, the break up scene, was completely slaughtered by kristen stewart. from what we see here in the clip.. man she completely sucked.

She was never supposed to cry at that part. She only cried when her mom came and her parents tried to get her to move to Jacksonville with her mom. Even then it dooesn't go into detail about the scene because it's Charlie just explaing to Alice what happened after they left.
If people are real true TwiHard FANS they will not have anything negative to say. It's a lot better than Twilight so far and they can not possibly incorporate everything from the book onto the screen.

I have to admit, it was brilliant compared to twilight, and that's all we can really assess based on a simple 2 minute trailer. I can assure everyone who is disapointed THAT THEY SAVED THE BEST SCENES FOR THE FILME. honestly, i think they just added these mediocre ones because they want us to build THE SUSPENSE.
truthfully, acting aside, it was a BRILLIANT TRAILER and i'm so excited for the movie!! and 1:25 when we see Jacob...HOTT!

A quick comment to those guys that mention the wolf not being scary at all.. In the book, the wolves are described as wolves the size of horses - with human eyes. Which is exactly what Chris Weitz has given us.
The wolves aren't supposed to actually look scary, they're just supposed to be really big wolves.
I think it's exellent.
the biggest one that stood out was the color of the movie, twilight had like a blue filter tint throughout the whole movie that complimented the gloominess of Forks, the mysteriousness of the theme, and the paleness of the vampire skin. i'm disappointed that the Cullens look tan in this trailer, they're supposed to be pale vampires!
also, wolf-jacob looks like it could be out of a video game. i'm hoping that it's just because post-production has barley begun and they rushed through the special effects to get the trailer out.
and Bella...she looks too different. she's supposed to be plain "daughter of a half albino" but she looks totally different from the first movie, she is tan! she has highlights in her hair, its not the same beautiful one-toned brown, her hair-cut is kind of choppy, not at all the single layer, draws-no-attention, simple cut she had in the first film, and she is wearing way more makeup. i figured they would have kept her hair and makeup the same plain until Breaking Dawn where she transforms into a super-modelesque beauty.
i'm just disappointed that already Chris Weitz has changed so much about the actual film (not story) already in such obvious ways. i just hope its the trailer thats disappointing, not the film itself. Catherine should have directed, it would have been as beautiful as the first.

1= trailer was great...laurent acting hands down perfect; edward's great too... action was greater than twilight..graphics cool..the vamps are pale enough; it;s just due to the lightening in the house that they look that way
2= kristen in the meadow great..bella doesn't cry when he's leaving her in the book; she's shock and numb.. and edward face "was wipe clean of emotion"..edward isn't emotional in this part; but more like he's cold hearted and even bella says "he stared back coldly"...and bella doesn't cry when he leaves; she tires to find him and run after him and even when she falls and stays on the ground; she does'nt cry..she's numb....atleast we see some emotion in kristen in the meadow and so no; her acting isn't blah..read the chapter again people..people need to re-read if they have to and stop critizing her because she is good...
3= yes ok; so jake wolf isn't as big as a horse; but they might re-do it for the final..this stuff is all in post-production; so chillax people...
4=vamps clothes and house is great....i dont have a problem and some people want the house from twilight..shaking my head... (they can't make everyone satisfied)....i like this house because u actually see the stairs as in bella POV in BD and it will come in handy if they film BD...the party scene is perfect....
5=only problem i can see in this trailer and agree with others is bella saying jake run and he changes...this brings me back to my saying and like other's said that this is just a teaser trailer and they will release a better new one...i mean; it makes sense because in order for bella to say that; something has to occur to let her know that he is a wolf and remember when she is with laurent= no backpack..she yells to jake and we see a back-pack...this is one huge evidence that they are just putting scenes/clips togeher to not make us wait long and this is not the final trailer....also why don't we see the volturi in the trailer and edward in italy if this is the real and final trailer?...
chillax; and relax because the real trailer should be a little longer and should include all the pivital moments in the movie like the volturi and stuff....
i personally thought the trailer was super awesome! i can't wait to watch the whole edward leaving bella scene because i know i'm gonna be crying when i watch that. i also can't wait for the reunion scene in italy. jacob's transformation was ridiculously cool!

I my self think that this I GRRREEAAATTTTTT, I am falling out of my chair. I waited for my husband to leave so I could SCREAAAAMMMMM. I don’t know about you guys but the look really good in the movie, look better and older and more hotter. The camera angles are not off like in a documentary as Catharine did it. It looks like a real movie, and I love Kristen, Taylor and Rob, they r just so perfect for the roles. AND LAURENT I mean common H-O-T… He can also bite me anytime!! He looked just so much better now… OOOOOO I am so excited, my hair is going to be gray soon if this movie doesn’t hurry up!! I am worrying to much:)

SO NOT TRUE!!!! im am deathly ill with twilight craze.. but I have shared some some opinions above on what would make a better movie for me personally.
I think the trailer it self could have been better, but as I said before they made it for the movie awards because it is a big promotion. Only with that they saved a lot of money from promotion world wide....I mean it will be seen all over the world. So they rushed, but I see people are impressed so who cares it got attention.
And they finished filming just a few days ago. Yes, some of those scenes are done a while ago...but still there's a lot to be done with this movie. I still think they have to do a lot of editing.
I am sure that the next trailer will be better just because it will take them longer to make it and it will include more scenes.
I loved that Jasper/Edward collision, I think that Edward pushing Jasper is the hottest thing ever haha, I loved Laurent (his eyes are awesome), morphing Jake.....and I can't wait for them to put that reunion in Italy! I hope they'll release the next trailer in August :D
the scene with laurent and bells.....holy crap! LOVE it and then bella running yelling to jacob. the wolf reminds me of narnia or the golden compass. love it!!!!!!

if I HAVE TO say something bad, i would just say that I wish edwards voice was a little louder than a whisper, he was a little hard to hear. but thats all.
Did anyone else notice that Edward wasn't pale enough comparing to Twilight? His hair is shorter and less spiky. :/ Also I did not imagine Jacob turning into a wolf like that. And when Stephanie described the wolves, she described them as huge much bigger than regular wolves. So, in the trailer they look like regular wolves to me. Also, i enjoyed the dim blue-gray effects done in the first movie, but the second one looks completely different. This trailer disappoints me, but I do like some parts of it. Does anyone else seems dissatisfied? Or am I only looking towards the negative things and am not open to change? Opinions, help?

Um... since when does Edward kiss Bella goodbye in the forest when he is leaving??? I know it is really hard to tell the whole scene from the trailer, but from what we got it seems that he tells her that he doesn't want her to be in danger from him and his family. Which of course we all know is his real reason, having read the book, but Bella believes in the book that he leaves because he doesn't want her anymore. I hope they don't stuff that scene up too much, it's pretty pivotal to the rest of the plot...
Sorry, but the more I watch Kristen Stewart as Bella, the more she annoys me. She just has no emotional range. She never really looks terrified or hysterical, or depressed or happy. She often speaks in a monotone. Not at all how I imagine Bella when reading the book. Very frustrating.
And I know that it wasn't in the trailer, but what's the go with the rumours about them changing the ending, so that Edward doesn't offer her the marriage ultimatum??? Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but isn't that bit just a little um, I dunno, ESSENTIAL to the plot of Eclipse???
I know I sound like a massive whinger, and don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE Twilight fan, but I have to say, Twilight was made on a really tiny budget, and I think that they did an awesome job with what they had (not that there weren't some things that could have been improved on, but overall it captured the feel of the book quite well). If they stuff up New Moon with a much larger budget then I will be majorly pissed...
The scene where Edward throws Jasper against the piano - that looks AWESOME, can't wait to see that in full.
Really, the trailer being a little disappointing is not going to stop me watching the movie, probably a thousand times like I have watched Twilight. But for me nothing will ever top the books. I mean you can't imrpove on perfection really...

I can understand everyone being pissed about KStew's obvious lack of tears. It pissed me off. I'm hoping that the scene they show is when she goes into shock and is about to be found in the woods.
About the wolf morphing at Jake's house.... I don't think it's that bad of a change. It would make the story easier to follow for people who have only seen the movies because if I remember correctly the meadow in the movie was right by Forks High. Laurant couldn't really be hunting there... And also... Bella has a backpack on only part of the time. They might have just editted it funny? I dunno.
Overall, I LOVED THE PARTY SCENE!! Jasper's face, and then the way he's thrown into the piano. And not a buttload of blood like other vamp movies. Just a few drops. Brilliantly done!! I gasped out loud.
And the morph was just....... GAHHH!!! I was so scared they were going to make him look more like a wolf man than a shape shifter. He was great!!!! And Taylor without his shirt made me feel like a child molester. hahaha.

Without going into detail, I'm with you. The emotions and characters were off. I, also, hate the line "paper cut" just like I hated the line "it's the venom" in Twilight. They sounded stupid and I think we're smart enough to know these things without needing to be verbally told! And I don't want a "glossy" movie like some huge-budget CG blockbuster. I liked the indie feel and blue tint of Twilight.
The whole time I kept thinking, I wanna see the wolves! I was so excited that they put that in there, even though he didn't look as I expected.

I literally started SCREAMING when I watched this. It's amazing. The transformation is incredible (they even showed the clothes shredding when he fursploded). Looks way better than Underworld (that's what I was hoping for). The FULL trailer in a couple months is going to be awesome (wolf pack, more of Jacob, more Edward, Volturi, etc etc etc. That, to some extent, will all be in the full trailer.) So please relax, critics. It's JUST a teaser and it was really well put-together.
SO worth all the anticipation. This looks incredible. Way more polished than Twilight. And everything they showed in the trailer is how I pictured it in the book.

this is more of a sneak peak trailer. please don't judge the movie by its trailer girls. we have to wait until the finished product. they still have more cgi to do, they have to do a whole lot of stuff. they have 170 something days to get it officially completed. that is why cw is not doing eclipse.
and yes laurent is in the book, but i think that they are using different parts in the movie to make it into a trailer. they wanted to make it for this so they did. they had not a whole lot of time to make it as well. this is like the first draft for the movie.. the final copy is when it comes out on NOVEMBER 20, this is not even the final trailer. they will probably have a better one in july or august.

Then after watching it 41278 times, I realized that they're most likely (hopfully) just smashing scenes together. She says "Jake run!" when she's dreaming, Jacob transforms infront of her when Paul comes at her before she meets Emily and she already knows about them, and the medow scene is how it is in the book. They just did all that so it fit together.
I was extremely pleased with everything except Jacob as the wolf. He isn't huge. Stephenie had him as large a horse and his fur was russet colored...not with grey in it and a normal size wolf..... I also noticed they were dressed for her party at Edward's house when he said he'd die without her... they were suppose to be a her house watching Romeo & Juliet...
I hope they don't alter too much more of the story... I'm worried that they took out the marriage proposal... that's key to the next two books....
I just found a small detail... when Edwards pushes Jasper Emmet turns his head, and then when they show the scene from the back Emmet doesn't move. It's small but i just noticed that.

4) Wait, I'm confused....Bella is supposed to be in her & Edward's meadow when Laurent finds her.....Jacob doesn't confront him alone, its with the whole pack & Bella at that point doesn't even know Jake is a werewolf.
5) I thought the transformation with Jacob was WAY cool, but am I the only one who has a problem with his wolf coloring? I thought he'd be a bit darker, & no white on the underside. OK, perhaps I'm nit-picking a bit, but I dunno, I didn't like it.
6) I had really hoped to get just a lil' snippet of The Volturi, specificlly Aro. I know they filmed most of there scenes in Vancouver, so I was hopeful, but no such luck.
I would like to say that I have since watched the trailer several times, & I can see now that alot of the scenes are spliced together and there's still SO much for us to see that none of it can be judged. Bella is wearing different clothing when she is speaking to Laurent. & of course the break-up scene is not in it's entirety. So, I'm gonna hold my tongue till more trailers are released and of course when we get to see the movie itself.
I'm so thankful to Chris Wietz & Summit for giving us this first taste of New Moon....all in all I'm just thrilled and I can't wait till November!!! And after the great week we had and all the goodies pics & vids with Rob taking his shirt off.....I've got no right to complain LOL

I think they are in Carlisle's study and somehow this is how the Volturi comes up (probably a picture of the clan on the wall). He probaby explains that what he would do if she was dead. If you think about it, they did a very good job of merging these scenes to make it less time consuming. I think the scenes with Laurent will be longer than what they are in the book and they may have sacrified one thing to give us some more wolf time and their attack (which is fine with me).
I think both Rob and Kristen did a great job and you can not judge the whole scene from a 3 second clip. It is EXTREMLY difficult to translate a book onto screen because of time, and there is only so much you can fit into 2 hours and we know there is a lot going on in this book. You can not expect it to be page for page like the book and if you do you are setting yourself up to be dissappointed. We all know that Twilight was no where near the book in terms of detail, but thanks to Rob and Kristen's chemistry along with the appeal of the rest of the cast, it was enjoyable to watch. I would bet hands down this movie will be so much better than Twilight.
I think those of you who have doubts should just try and lower your expectations and I think you may enjoy this movie more than you thought you could.
Chris is a a great director and I think for everything we have seen, he has tried to keep close to the book within the parameters of what it takes to translate that onto film.

Anyway, back to the Laurent scene, look at the scenery around them, that does NOT look like the meadow they're standing in, and when you see Jake run up and shift, the ground looks the same. Maybe there's a continuity issue with Bella's clothes. Maybe you guys already found a flub in the editing. I'm reading posts that are still suggesting that the the two scenes ARE directly related. I want to agree with you guys and hope not. I hope we're missing ALL sorts of stuff! I mean, I know we are, I guess considering they're still filming, at least wrapping things up, they probably had to do a down and dirty whip-up of something to present tonight. (The CGI wolves?..Please GOD say they'll improve upon that before the movie is released, cartoon wolves would belittle the serious nature of the story -- my apologies for those who disagree)
Don't get me wrong, I'm anxiously awaiting Nov. 20 like everyone else. I can't wait for future official trailers to be released now. The fan-made stuff has been superb, but it's so exciting seeing official footage. So believe it or not I did enjoy it!
I am not sure about the Laurent scenes and it could be two different scenes but I don't know. I know I read that they expanded the Lauren scene to actually show him fighting with the Wolves so I don't know if they had to again sacrifice one thing to show the other. They also needed to have Bella find out about his transformation quicker so they could have shorten this scene to incorporate it all at the same time.
Remember, this is NOT the finishes product, and they also had to make ajustments because of time and some things will either be cut or shortened. Although we would not mind watching a 3 hour movie, they can't do that,lol.

The scene with Edward breaking up with Bella is edited down to nothing so we can not judge Bella's expression.
The Laurent scene and the scene where Jake shifts is to different scenes. In the scene with Laurent she is wearing a grey jacket and altough it looks like the same area, when we see Bella running towards Jake's house, she is wearing a brown Jacket.
To me they are two seperate scenes and it will be intersting to see the finished product.
Have to say I get the chills EVERYTIME Eward say she is his reason for being alive, if that is what he is. Just perfect.
kristen/bella scene is perfect because in the book; she's numb and doesn't cry at all; just numb even laying on the floor; and from bella POV; her emotion at the time was basically numbness...i am a kristen fan and also robs; but i am so sick of people critizing her acting.....
bella= "i was just in an unthinking stupor; holding with all my strength to the numbness that kept me from realizing what i didn't want to know"........quit judging too early folks....
I love most of it, except they changed the scene where Laurent supposed to attack bella and jake changed right infront of her, i guess this is where they tried to cut short the book into the movie?
I preferred the book's version, as then bella doesn't know jake is a werewolf (shape shifter) yet ...

I'm not sure about the part when Edward says he is alive just for Bella......where is that supposed to take place.? The birthday party, or a Bella's house? I found that to be different.
I'm not sure the wolf transformation will look like this for the movie....remember, this is a very rushed clip, and I think they do soooooomuch work in CGI to make it look better. Let's relax and enjoy, girls!
2. I miss the close-up expression in Twilight as the camera zoomed in to capture the emotions & Cullen's twinkling eyes. In New Moon, the camera was like a distance away & you can't figure out their emotions
3. I miss Catherine for her ability to relate a girl's feelings compared to Chris. In Twilight, you feel like you are in Bella's shoes but in New Moon, you feel like just a part of the audience
4. The birthday party, everyone seems to stand like they are being positioned by the director...reminds me of theatre or something. And Bella is so emotionless seeing the blood on her finger as if as it's a watercolour.
5. The way Bella saying "kiss me" is like "kick me". She should have done it better in a flirty way
So to conclude, I miss the CLOSE-UP feature in Twilight!

1. the wolves are ment to be almost the size of a horse.
2. he is a massive russet coloured wolf and he still has jacobs eyes.
3. It just looks too much like a cartoon.
The rest of the clip was awsome. I love how kirsten raises her eyebrow, daring him almost. think she handeled the whole dropping the popcorn thing really well. most would have died on the spot of humilliation.
Many of the things that people feel are missing can be added in before the film comes out. For example the blue haze effect can be added in, although Jake is meant to be like Bella's personal sunshine in New Moon so maybe they want this film to look different. I personally liked this about Twilight but we'll have to wait and see if they change it or not, either way I thought the vampires looked good. The papercut scene does seem to show everyone but Edward standing still like nothing's happening but don't forget how protective Edward is of Bella, and that he is the fastest of the Cullens. This clip is really short so perhaps everyone jumps in to help after Edward has dealt the initial blow to Jasper, which is how I remember it from the book. We see Bella sitting looking at her arm but we can't see who is restraining Jasper or the look in his eyes. As for the kiss we only see about a second of it, so although it looks like Bella isn't putting any effort into it you can't really gage anything from that 1 second.
As for the clip where Edward leaves, Bella doesn't cry at this point in the book so it's right that she shouldn't cry here in the film. She's in shock and I think Kristen was acting that well. As for Edward he was cold in this trailer which is actually what made me dislike it at first but is now why I love it. He is trying to make Bella feel like he doesn't want her anymore and I totally bought it, I'm so going to be in floods when the film finally comes out in November. Whenever I think of New Moon I always think ahead to the part when Bella goes to save Edward, this trailer doesn't even hint at that so I was immediately depressed to think that he had just left her. Then I reminded myself that he does come back and it's just an act! ;o)
Anyway all in all I think the acting was very good and they seem to have stayed quite close to the book. We can't judge until we see the finished article but I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!! :o)

I read a couple of these comments, and I'm surprised that there are so many negative comments! LOL, I absolutely hated the official poster (mostly because it centers on Edward, when he's not a big part of New Moon)- but the trailer was GREAT! So what if it's different from Twilight- that's a really good sign! Some people are just impossible to please.. LOL
I'm so happy that they "won a lot of things" at the MTV movie awards and next year, New Moon is gonna get even more awards! I cant wait until November but seeing this trailer has just made me even more amped! GAH!! They are INSANE actors and I just know this movie is gonna be awesome :) YAY! I looooove it :) EEK! I know tons of people are freaking about about the meadow/Laurent scene, but I’m pretty sure by now people have already figured out it was editing.
In my opinion this clip did what they were trying to do which was answer questions.
For instance:
1.) Birthday scene- This was their way of showing fans that they were trying to stay true to the book.
2.) Edward saying goodbye- Well duh! This is what the book/ movie is built on.
3.) Jacob aka Taylor shirtless- put away any questions that he wasn’t going to be able to play the part because of his huge transformation in the book. BTW Great job Taylor!
4.)Laurent in the meadow- My guess is that they used this because they had it already and Bella(Kristen) actually looked distressed here(pretty happy about that.) and they needed something that went with Jacob phasing which leads me to ....
5.) Jacob phasing- answered many questions about how the wolves would be portrayed and how they’d phase. (This was my main concern.) I’m sure they didn’t do all the wolves because it was thrown together and it would have been to expensive to add all the wolves for just a teaser.
I was a bit disappointed that none of the Italy scenes were shown , but I actually really didn’t expect that since they just started filming there. Overall I was happy with it. I think it looks 10x better than Twilight already. I’m a huge Twilight fan(a Twerd if you will. hehe), but no matter how many times I watched Twilight in hopes that it would get better it only got worse. I have high hopes for the future films! November 20th........ahhhhhhh, can’t wait!

Loved, Loved , Loved the trailer! They got some keys parts from the book into the trailer like the birthday scene, when edward leaves, and when jacob turns into a werewolf. All that in the trailer, imagine the movie! I can not wait 'til november!!!!!!
And Taylor is HOT.
My only gripe is when Jasper tries to attack Bella, the other Cullen's stand and watch, instead of dragging him away as in the book, and Edward simply looks at Bella, not instantly crouching over and protecting her the way he does in the book. The same thing happened in the Twilight fight scene. Edward always seems to be staring sadly at Bella whenever she is hurt or on danger, but not comforting and physically protecting Bella the way he does in the books. Is it just me??
Other than that...can't wait to see more.
