I loved the reaction of one boy who noticed Jasper's hair. The most normal reaction, similar to mine. I remember not breathing the entire 2min I watched the trailer for the first time and my wide eyes. And a long WOOOOW at the end. :)
But im definitly not waiting a week for this movie!! I want to be there for the first session!!!! I dont work days so ill be there. But im sure a LOT of people are gonna be off work or school 'sick' that day...

My reaction to the trailer was basically me smiling the whole time lol, oh and a few gasps here and there, I was not expecting to see a wolf in the first trailer
No wonder the ENTIRE cast is so paranoid!! I feel sorry for them. I honestly do. Now if I ever met any of them, I think I would pretend to not know them to attempt to give them some peace!! Holy Crap Guys!! Get a Grip!!
Dont get me wrong. I read each book several times and I loved the movie.
It looks like I am going to have kill several people at the New Moon premiere! Im not joking, if these people love the Twilight Saga so much, why scream through the ENTIRE thing so you can't hear what they are saying? I don't get it?
When I go to the theater to see this movie, and I can't hear it, i will be extremely angry...
Otherwise, why care?

The screams and giggles were bad enough with the first one this time I can only imagine I will not be able to hear the movie at all. hahahahahahaha
as much as i am in LOVE with the twilight series and want to go see the very first showing on opening night, i'm scared to because i feel like the theatre will be full of people acting like this.
I must clarify. I am as huge a twi-freak as anyone else on here. You all know this. I have watched that trailer more times than I can count. The first time (and second, and third...) I watched it I yelled HOLY CRAP! But there was no squealing or flapping involved. That this is the stereotypical picture of the TwiGuy presented to the world is painful for me.

Something definitely wrong with the girl with the red background, or maybe she was just laying it on a bit thick for the camera. Either way, a bit weird.
The red background girl.. dumb. The annoying girl with her mouth hanging open and not doing anything? Made me want to smack her. The rest were too loud. The only ones that I had found funny were the two women we saw in a prior video.

My 12 yr old daughter was with me the first time~ when I saw Jake fursplode I threw my blanket (that I had in a death grip) up in the air squealing and blocked out her entire view...so I had to rewind a few times.....
Yeah, I mentioned that in another post about Star Wars. I think we are way more passionate about this saga. And there was no internet to interact with fans in the 70"s either. New Moon WILL be a blockbuster!! Let's help it make $100K the first weekend! Twilight was around $75K ---we can do it!

But i was silent watching it the first time...being very quiet to ensure i didnt miss anything! I was excited on the inside...heart beating at a million miles and screaming on the inside...no need to scare the neighbours!
As for this video of the screaming fans...some seemed staged but my fave is still the one of the 2 sisters where one of them was wearing the black and white cullen shirt i think

I just do not go over the top crazy over a trailer...lol. But I have watched it several times over and love it :-D. I just do not scream..I holler and cheer at concerts..not at movies or trailers hehe. I did say at the Jacob/Wolf transformation "wow that is cool!" cos it was!
Separately, I came here to say: I screamed the first three times I watched the teaser, and I'm not afraid to admit it :) Loved the trailer. Was more than I had hoped for (especially considering it was a teaser). Can't wait for the full-length! I'm still betting the first full-length will be in theaters before Harry Potter next month, but that's just my theory... The sooner the better!!!
I had to put my hand over my mouth b/c we were all already in bed, and the girls were sleeping... but I am sure I might have screamed (a little) had I been by myself.

The first time I read the series, I read all 4 books in 2 days. I didn't talk to him that entire time. I don't even think I remember seeing him during those 2 days, because I just didn't look up from the books! That sounds so mean now....

Everytime I grab one of the books to re-read it my husband repeatedly smacks the inside of his elbow (drug reference). I just smile and admit that it could be worse...like actual drugs.

If you want an intense trailer that is tear-inducing, watch the final Golden Compass trailer. OMG it's super intense. I've heard the same thing about the LOTR trailers but i've never seen them (seen the movies, not the trailers).

I jumped up & down and screamed OMG over & over (and I'm old) I also recorded it on my phone (yes, I'm a twigeek) so that I could take it with me where ever I go. I also recorded Rob's acceptance speeches and the "almost kiss" not ashamed to admit it!

I understand your disappointment, but just remember it's only the teaser :) In a month or two we'll probably see one of the full-length trailers...and then all will be okay.

I saw the trailer Sunday night. I swore I wouldn't watch because I loathe MTV. It's just there wasn't anything to do at the moment. Unless my mom took control of the tv and watch some reality tv. *shivers* So I saw it on time. When I screamed though half of my family ran over to our camper thinking something was wrong. lol!
You must be happy Steph decided to go back and include more Jacob in the first Twi book. She said that originally he wasn't really there, until she was writing New moon and doing the final edits on Twilight. I couldn't really imagine the series w/out Jacob, although some of his actions in Eclipse are appalling.
Still, can't wait to see Taylor act in New Moon :) He's got so much charisma.
I can't wait to see Taylor in New Moon. I think once the movie comes out he is going to blow people away. He did impress me in Twilight. The death stare at the end was awesome! I always had my own version of Jacob as I read but now I can't picture anyone else. I'm re-reading the saga now and I can't see anyone else.
Jacob is what sold me, sucked me in, and made me crave more.
I too never found him annoying or disliked him.
He (and later Leah) were the only characters I mourned for too.
I'm with you. The wolves are the reason I fell in love with the series. From the moment Jacob cut-in on Edward and Bella dancing at the end of Twilight I was hook-line-and-sinker.
I wish I would have seen Paul chasing Bella now. LOL! I would have taken great joy in seeing my man in wolf form. I thought they were suppose to fight in the rain, on the road because of Bella. But whatever. As long as I see my pack, and they have ample screen time, it's all good.

Then when he appeared I screeched.
Whenever I re-watch it I fast-forward to Edward leaving her 'cause right after that is when Jacob appears AND where New Moon really begins.
It's all good though. There will be other trailers with Sam, Paul, Embry, Jared, and Quil. Hopefully Emily as well.
It gives me something to anticipate and look forward to.
They're worth the wait.

I took my laptop to the beach. Just to play games at night like The Sims, Mahjong Tiles, Solitare, things like that. My Mema (grandma) saw the pic of Paul, and was like "oh he's good looking!' I nearly rolled on the floor laughing.
I'll probably be the only one in my theater gasping when Paul steps on screen. Just thinking about it gets me so excited!

I had a silent freak out, where my jaw was literally on the floor and i was out of my seat. before i knew it, i had grabbed by hair and was completely flabbergasted!
sitting thru New Moon in relative silence is gonna b my biggest challenge to come...

All in general are overeacting crying and screaming like that is not a normal reaction, better try to have a live, go to the gym please, so much obesity in the U.S.A poor girls, the lack of self esteem and activity make them shut in their rooms all day and become obsessed for twilight.

I love Twilight, but watching this (and seeing other videos and pics of fans), makes me a little embarrassed to be a fan, not because of the weight, more the hysteria.

I am a huge Twilight fan in the sense that I have read all the books 3 times, waited in line at the premiere, bought the movie, watched (and yes, LOVED!!!) the trailer and check Stephenie's site constantly, looking for info on whether she's going to publish Midnight Sun any time this century. I'm also in my 20's w/ kids though, and maybe that makes the difference...
