I agree to a point.....such as the fight poses....yeah, there a little chessy but they were describe as such in the books. The vamps would always get into a attach crouch before when they felt defensive....just fyi. but other than that....it was on point!

I HATED THE FIGHT POSES IN TWILIGHT TOO THEY JUST LOOKED LIKE THEY ALL REALLY NEEDED TO GO TO THE TOILET

even i;ve read the books over and over again but i'm scared bout new moon movie will give edward cullen small portion of scene. I hope chris could see the bottom of the strory and still put the romantics moments for edward and bella, specially when they meet again in Italy, brings out the romance and please do not make this films like a war zone between vampire and werewolf to be something hard to see.. the point is keep edward cullen portion still big...hehehe....

Watch fringe... the actor who plays the eccentric scientist Walter ( John Noble) is the perfect person to play Aro of the Vulturi...and ............... ease up on Carlisle Cullen's make up.

Kristen Stewert doesnt portray Bella too well I would think a dirty blond girl would be better than a dark haired girl

bella is a brunnette with red highlights in the book. not a dirty blonde.

    nice try.
  • LarissaH · 11 months ago
NomadKeach - Aro is YOUNG looking although papery skinned, and with dark black long hair. Don't think so. I'd rather see Ben Barnes as Aro!

And Sarah, you need to re-read the books, Bella is a brunette not a blond, gimme a break.

I agree with most of Sabrina's comments accept the fighting crouch - granted, they looked cheesy in Twilight but it's official book cannon so rather than getting rid of them, they should refine them.

I agree with everything, but as for the glitter-y aspect, yall have to admit that making someone "sparkle" is not exactly an easy task. For what they did, I was pretty impressed. Yeah it was cheesy but it def got the point across. So I'm really glad they tried instead of skipping it altogether. But everything else I agree with 100% and hopefully the people in charge of the movie take note of this.

I missed the banter. Rob got cheated out of a lot of Edward's best lines. Kristen did too,but not like what was missing from Edward. It doesn't make sense for them to be so outrageously connected without some reason for the connection. The movie showed their mouths moving in the background, but cheated us out of the quips and dialogue that set Bella & Edward apart from every other teeny-bopper lust affair.
I wish,as long as I am wishing, to get the blood-typing scene added to "Twilight".

    More Edward & Bella,less posing.

I think Kristen Stewart NAILED Bella thank you very much. I doubt any other actress could have played that role better. Bella doubts herself and has no self confidence through almost the whole story (all 4 books!!!). Kristen is a fantastic actress but has gotten shitty reviews from so called "professional reviewers" that I can't image she has much self confidence left. I've seen all her movies and LOVE her as an actress. I think she deserves credit for the amazing job she does as Bella and the other characters she portrays.

I think a male director for the 2nd movie is appropriate. A main point of the story is Jacob "coming of age" and becoming a werewolf. Werewolves are extremely testosteroni and I think it'll take a guy's perspective to convey that properly. I think the first movie should have been co-directed by a male and a female because frankly I was sorely disappointed they didn't market the story to guys in the ways they could have. The cars in the movie pissed my guy off so much he almost walked out of the theater. Stephanie names specific cars in the book. Any guy worth his 'man card' would notice that and compare it (with great importance) to the cars in the movie. They would go see the movie just to see the damn cars. Girls don't notice that sort of thing. I mean we all knew Edward drove a silver volvo but did you know there is more than one kind of volvo out there? I didn't but my guy and Stephanie's brothers who suggested the cars when she was writing the book do, like most guys would.

Can someone tell me wtf happened to the meadow scene? Its like they didn't even care about one of the most important, relationship building scenes in the whole story.

Where the hell did the diner come from? All the scenes between Bella and her dad take place in their kitchen. Bella is cooking. Again another important part of her character. If I hadn't read the book I'd have assumed neither of them could cook. Again important thing for a lot of guys out there apparently. They love to cook and are good at it. Same with Bella. It gives them a way to identify and there for grow to love that character.

Finally I have this to say FIRE the person who came up with the scene transitions. THEY MADE NO SENSE!!! The end of the second biology class scene. You learn a lot of important character information that is vital to understanding the rest of the story there. Almost all cut out. Why did he even follow her into the hallway? Why is she holding the golden onion? That is a vital plot point. When Edward plays Bella her song in the book it is one of the most romantic scenes in the book and in the movie the watcher is left going wtf was that and why was it in the movie? Grr... Seriously. New Moon better kick ass or the 3rd and 4th books will not make it to the big screen.

THey had a meadow picked out for the scene but the day of the shoot it snow five inches. As it was supposed to be spring, and flowers were to be blooming, they had to go another direction. they only had 45 days to shoot the film and had no time to wait.
  • Undomiel · 5 months ago
i think she meant the dialogue was off. not the location. i mean, i have to admit i was hoping for a few wildflowers and a pond but hey i guess not.

i am soooo excited for new moon i know all the scences in it will be great
  • TwilightSaga(L) · 8 months ago
I agree with most of this.
they missed out far too much.
i think Kristen Stewart was great as Bella.
i cant wait for new moon, but im worried about what they'll miss out and what they will do with jacob etc when they have to morph into the wolves.
they need to make a bigger deal out of the connection and relationship between Bella and Edward and im hoping they make the breakup really dramatic and the reunion really big. the book was great, so i hope the movie lives up to my expectations.
  • Twilight lover =) · 7 months ago
Omg yes I want Bella to act crazy crazy because she has lost the lost of her life. They need emphasize of Edward and Bella's love because that is what made me fall in love with the story. And I seriously hope and pray that they include Edward's proposal to Bella in the film because that would just make my day.
  • Undomiel · 5 months ago
they already shot the new moon movie dumb ass.

i think we all think movies should be as good as the books but they never are. i was disappointed in the movie mainly because of the lack of character development between bella and Edward. You're right when you say they rushed to say I love you, and even though thats how it was in the books, the audience needs to know why.

yea and i wish they would use real wolves but it looks like they r going for crappy animation. it looks horrible from what i saw in the trailer. i hope they fix it up a bit more... i mean dag if movies like transformers can make fake stuff look real, why cant all of the twilight movies? i mean they are only movies based on a series that is still kicking harry potters ass in top sellers.

    team edward.
  • Undomiel · 5 months ago
BTW i think they should let stephanie meyer help with writing the script. i mean damn its her vision, let her decide which scenes are vital and which can be cropped.
