i love steven strait and i think he shoud be jacob becouse he is taller and maybe not stronger but like taylor he can make musles and i think that tylor is great and i love him too but steven is better for this role and after twilight and new moon (becouse we alredy know who is playing jacob) tylor will find many roles for next years

if they recast jacob i refuse to watch the rest of the movies and will tell other people not to watch. it would be gay to recast a main character!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i garuntee that they fill loose half their fan base and it would be a HUGE watse of money. the best jacob black is steve strait, he look soo sexy an innocent. when i first read twilight the picture in my mind that stephenie meyer describe like jacob was the face of steve strait like in the covernat with long hair an his cute charmer smile

ur so rite..Steven strait would be perfect.taylor lautner is too young for older jacob..he wouldnt have sex appeal..who cares if hes ripped..he doesnt look mature enough...i think its a good idea if he stays as jacob only in the first part of new moon.i totally agree with kat and daffy...

Ok, I understand the need to stay with the original actor, but why couldn't they have cast Stephen Strait in the first place? Don't get me wrong, Taylor Lautner is probably a great actor (not that I've seen him in anything other than Twilight), but Stephen Strait is just.... SEXY.

They have to keep taylor! it's stupid to recast someone in a sequel when they were in they first movie. he deserves a chance and it's not fair to fire him. :( people are dumb.

Taylor is looking very buff these days, and he certainly looks older! I saw him when he hadn't quite completely shaved and he looked quite manly and sexy. I can definitely see him up against Rob. I'm Team Jacob so I'd go for Taylor though ;P
