Well, I do in New moon and Eclipse. When I'm reading those I can't stop myself from crying out how much I hate Jacob Black, now and then.
He's such an ass. Just an amazing ass.
And anywho, Jacob tries to force her into a relationship which she doesn't want to be in. She loves Edward. I can't see why Jacob fans want to ignore that tiny little detail. That she'll always love another more than Jacob. So the whole existence of team Edward - team Jacob seems a bit foolish to me.
In Breaking Dawn I appreciate him much more. But then he's not that big an ass any more. And of course, the realisation that he didn't actually love Bella but Renesmee helps a lot.
And okay, Mike... That I just totally don't get.
For JAcob: HOw can you hate him? He's the one who helped Bella feel better after Edward left her. He's the one who made her laugh again, feel better again. He's her best friend. He wasn't pushy. He just fell in love with her and when you're really close friends it's hard to hide that little fact... I mean, Bella loves him too. NOt the way she does/did (She always loves E. but in the 2nd they're broken up) love Edward. But she does and it's hard for her to keep her feelings in order. But Jacob didn't do anything Bella HAted... So just let it be, guys. Let him be.
And for Edward... I really liked his character in the first book... But then, I didn't "love" Edward either. He's like really bossy and even a little mean to Bella like ALL the time... SO there' was a time I really disliked him and really hoped Bella would go for Jacob who's really kind to her. BUt with the end of the 2nd I kinda started to like Edward again.(babysteps- because he's still bossy)....
But all in all, I think the author did a great job evolving every Character (Yes guys, They're just Characters :) ) in its own perfect way and did a good job giving Jacob a good ENding. OMG, I really love these books.... Can't wait to see NewMoon.... =)

I really hope you could finish the MIDNIGHT SUN (Edward's version of twilight).. i've read your partial draft (from this site as well) of that and its really different from Edward's version in the sence that there's a lot more to discover about him... It makes me appreciate MORE of him & bella and the rest of the story... I just really love this story & my heart will always be for the rest of the characters as if they were really exist...its really amazing & fascinating... actually no words enough to explain...=)...

concorde changed the release date because of the really upset german fans (myself included). of course guys don´t understand they do not have that romantic part in their brainsxD

Funny you say that...when i got interested of reading the book..my husband went nuts...finally he decided to read the book and he understood why I wanted to read the series...His actually going to watch the movie with me went it come outs..my hubby is such a trooper..

New Moon is easier because Jacob and Bella have conversations, many in facts, that do not include how beautiful and amazing the other is

It had its dull parts but emotionally that was the strongest book of the series, besides twilight itself. Bella's despair is so overwhelming that you don't essentially have to be a very empathetic person to really feel her pain.
I guess for some the strong feelings of despair and hopelessness in new moon weren't very favorable but I really felt connected to the book because of how well it was written. Which is why its my personal favorite. Mrs. Meyer really did an amazing job with this "chapter"-so to speak- of Bella's story.

I also really enjoyed the near ending of Breaking Dawn. When Bella had come to except the fact that the Volturi would destroy her and Edward, but she would do everything in her power to save Renesmee, Jacob, Alice, Jasper, and any of the other survivors. Maybe i didn't like it, but (I'm sorry if this isn't making perfect sense) I did love it. Because of how connected I felt to the sotry. How much it hurt me just reading those chapters, thinking that they had no chance of survival. I had spent so much time wondering how the Saga would end that it really broke my heart to think that Bella and Edward would be destroyed. I cried so many times, its embarrassing. I have a few tears building just talking about it.
But still New Moon was my favorite. I can't really go into further detail as to why, its beyond me.

IT WAS SO MOVING.....YOU GOT TO SEE HOW HARD IT IS TO "LOSE" SOMEONE BY THEM LEAVING.....AND THEN YOU GOT TO FEEL THE "COMPLETE" FEELING AT THE END OF THE BOOK.... YOU CANT HAVE TRUE LOVE WITHOUT A LITTLE DESPAIR....I READ IT MORE THAN ONCE =)

it's so funny to read al this because it's so recognizable. I too am a little obsessed with the twilight saga, although i'm not in the right agelimit. But then again does that matter?
I start reading twilight and was immediatley crazy about it. I didn't want the story to end. So I start looking on the internet for the other books because only the first book was translated in dutch. (I'm from Belgium) I ordered the books in english and read them three times.
And I too skipt the part without Edward in New Moon the first time. It was unnerving to think he wasn't in the story. The second and third thime I was more relaxed :) so i could read the hole book.
I hope the new moon movie comes out this year in Europe as well. It's still long to wait but if i have to wait until 2010 i go nuts!
I also hope that Stephenie Meyer continues writing on the book Midnight Sun. To bad that some leaked the story on the net before it was finished. I understand that the author puts it on hold for that. But i'm so curious to read Edward's story.

They need to work on this movie more then they did with the last one.
The Twilight books are amazing, but that movie was a huge disappointment, I hope they can redeem themselves with the movie for New Moon
I too have read each of the books at least 3 times. The essence of New Moon is supposed to be Bella's relationship with Jacob. The fact that this is the darkest period of Bella's life (hence the title New Moon) and Jacob helps her to retain SOME normalcy in what's left of her life after it has been shattered by Edward leaving, is mostly the main focus of the storyline. (That and Bella's pain due to the love of her life being gone). The Volturi are extremely important but the part in Italy isn't the main part of the book. It just creates more suspense and a climax and it keeps you interested.
And, in my opinion, Jacob isn't of microscopic importance at all.
If you have read New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn then you know that Jake is very important and many interesting parts of the book focus on him.
Jake has always been one of my favorite characters and I was very pleased that he was able to help Bella during the difficult periods of her life.
Jacob had very little importance in the first movie and it would be a shame to downgrade his importance further in the movies to come.
I would love for the movies to be written as closely to the books as possible which means Volterra shouldn't be the focus til the end of the book. Victoria is still a threat in New Moon too remember?

I think all of the books are good and i have no favorite.

because Kristen looked like a hoe unlike the Bella described

When Bella had come to except the fact that the Volturi would destroy her and Edward, but she would do everything in her power to save Renesmee, Jacob, Alice, Jasper, and any of the other survivors. I think all of the books are good and i have no favorite.
I didn't like the twilight movie as much as i thought I would
because Kristen looked like a hoe unlike the Bella described
on the book but the rest of the actors were picked out nicely
and an other reason was because they missed a lot of
important parts.
I hope new moon does not bring any disapointments!
I'll DEFINENTLY see New Moon because well, the books are a drug for me.lol, however i want ALL 4 BOOKS DONE INTO A MOVIE!!!!!!!!! I want Forever Dawn published, too. I'd do anything to see that one hit the shelves!!!!

New Moon for me was one of the more depressing books, especially when i first read it and ended up crying buckets of tears when Edward left, but on reading a second and third time i now understand Jacob better and Edwards' reason for leaving. I can't wait for the movie, i envy all you Americans who will get to see it before the Brits... <_< But, i'm taking my tissues with me and possibly a waterbath just to prepare myself! And for everyone who is saying "Dakota Fanning isn't right for Jane" ... Lets all make a final decision when we've actually seen the movie, i don't see the point in saying "she's not right" because none of us have seen her play Jane yet. Who knows she could turn out to the perfect Jane, or possibly the worst. I guess we'll just have to wait and see (: !

The Twilight books are amazing, but that movie was a huge disappointment, I hope they can redeem themselves with the movie for New Moon

New Moon was one of my favorites. It had so much raw emotion. I mean..Bella basically got her heart ripped out of her chest and torn into a million pieces. I really hope they show how much she hurt in the movie. I wanna see real emotion.
The only thing i don't like about it was that Edward was gone almost the whole time.
Seeing/reading Bella and Edward together just makes my heart melt, so whenever they are apart, i absolutely hate it.
When he was away, she was devestated. and it killed me. But whenever she would do something "stupid", his voice always came into her head and everyyyyyyy single time, i would cry. Because even though he was away from her, he still wanted to protect her (even though i dont really think it was his real voice, but i pretended like it was lol ;P )
anywayss, i hope this movie will be good. I love Kristen and Robert's chemistry too.

The fact that this is the darkest period of Bella's life (hence the title New Moon) and Jacob helps her to retain SOME normalcy in what's left of her life after it has been shattered by Edward leaving, is mostly the main focus of the storyline. (That and Bella's pain due to the love of her life being gone). The Volturi are extremely important but the part in Italy isn't the main part of the book. It just creates more suspense and a climax and it keeps you interested.
And, in my opinion, Jacob isn't of microscopic importance at all.
If you have read New Moon, Eclipse, or Breaking Dawn then you know that Jake is very important and many interesting parts of the book focus on him.
Jake has always been one of my favorite characters and I was very pleased that he was able to help Bella during the difficult periods of her life.
Jacob had very little importance in the first movie and it would be a shame to downgrade his importance further in the movies to come.
I would love for the movies to be written as closely to the books as possible which means Volterra shouldn't be the focus til the end of the book. Victoria is still a threat in New Moon too remember?

I hadn't bothered reading the books until I saw the movie- yes, I was a non-believer- now I get it! And I loved it, did the whole crying thing, etc... Finished the books in less than a week. I really look forward to seeing how they're going to do Breaking Dawn... I think they might want to put the kid gloves on for that one.

twilight the movie wasnt much like the book and they missed out a lot of important bits but i think they di really well on the casting of everone. once you think about it, what bella goes thoruogh is unbelivable. i cried my eyes out in new moon heaps of times and in breaking dawn too. Just think, if the 1 person you truly love, your life, your heart, your SOULMATE, leaves you, how would you feel? like you could never ever move on or learn to love someone else, because HE WAS THE ONE. its really depressing really. first the attack with james, where bella risks her life to save her mother and her friends. edward loves her more than anything. if his love werent true, he wouldnt of found the will to stop taking bellas blood. in new moon, edward leaves and bella is torn. i wouldnt believe it either. as if you could just do that to her. and when he almost kills himself coz he thinks shes dead, i mean gosh! its like, he was away from her anyway. what difference would it make? he knew she wouldnt want him to do that. and where she cuts her finger and jasper like tries to snap her, and edward wants too stay with bella even though its too much for him. in breaking dawn, where he doesnt want to tmake love with bella coz he bruised her and is afraid hell kill her, its juvinile but in a way understandable. and she gets pregnant with a half moprtal half immortal child. bella risks her life for her baby. her daughter. her renesmee. she doesnt care if it kills her because she loves it. but edward saves bella, even though he doesnt want her to become immortal, he saves her life and she becomes a strong, young, beautiful, invinsible vampire with a perfect family. the saga is beautiful and super natural, but the way sephenie meyer wrote it just makes it sound so real.

i like the book but i remember hateing jacob so much but when i got to breaking dawn i loved him but not as much as edward i loved all the books so much i can't choose the any over the other they all have there great bits i have read the books about 4 times now and each time i find somthing i missed. the books will always be better than the movies because you don't miss out on any on the good bits but its great to have the movies aswell love it love it love it
