I find it truly disturbing that Robert can't even lift his head until he is really for his scene, the poor guy is going to end up the the Hunch Back Of Notre Damn! Even when he's talking to people he has to keep his head lowered and look at up at them. Its ridiculous! I feel so sorry for him, and he will not get away from it until at least Christmas. He's going straight back to Canada when he's done in NY so he'll be hounded. I just hope he gets even a little bit off time in between to hide. Heck come to Belfast Rob, the rock out my back garden is big enough for both of us to hide under, I'll protect you!

but i do feel bad for the poor (beautifully amazing) guy. maybe nmm.org and other such sites should stop posting these videos (even though i know deep down we all want to watch them) and then the paps will stop harrassing him like they do... it's basically our demand for more photos/ videos of him (and the rest of the cast, for that matter) that's paying these guys' salaries!!
also, is it just me, or were there a few rob hair/lookalikes around him? maybe to distract the paparazzi? good idea but poor attempt... couldn't fool me LOL!
If these paps don't quit taking so many pics, then the entire movie is going to be seen in just the photos alone. I mean, although I am a Wolfgirl, I like seeing pics of the actors too; but there has to be a limit. The guy has no privacy now and can't even film a scene on location without chaos. Please just back the F**k up!!

Those pictures are a good advertisement because I've seen that people are more interested in the movie now when they saw pictures and they want to know more. Especially because this is a small movie...
Movie crews in general let the paps get closer to get the pics because as I said it's a free advertisements.
BUT the problem is if you give the paps one finger they want to bite your entire hand!
And also because Rob is in this movie, the amount of paps and "fans" is enourmous. The outdoor scenes will always be public but because of Rob they are chaotic.
I feel really sorry for him, but it can't be avoided if you're filming a movie on the streets of New York.
I feel the crew did wrong here...they should make the line the paps and fans are standing much further away. I saw in the video they were too close.
Also we expect from paps to act like idiots, but the fact is that the fans are making it even more difficult. They expect for him to go and take pictures and sign things...they bring their Twilight books for gods sake. It seems they really can't understand that they are working.
I was adverting to the fact there are so many pictures and the paps are being allowed such access to this film. Sometimes this type of access can be a negative aspect and overshadow the actual film. And I truly would like for the actors to be seen for their abilities instead of the mere fact it is RPattz in the film. Yeah, his presence adds publicity. Nonetheless, the situation seems to have gotten completely chaotic with the photos, paps, and fans. And filming on location anywhere can be hectic.. but it is up to the producers and crew to ensure that the scenes can be filmed without so much pandemonium.
It is a small movie though, they have small budget. I don't think they can have a closed set. I doubt it will overshadow the movie, for now it just got people more interested. We are more exposed to that because of Rob, if Rob wasn't cast probably we wouldn't even know the movie is filming.
I think they are doing most of outdoor scenes at the beginning. There's a lot of them that are indoors. So it will be a period when we won't have new pics for days.
No one will be blind about the other actors abilities, but I was mentioning Rob because every movie has a crowd, but this one is all about him. They can't do anything. They even have to be nice to the paps because they are bullies. They can't remove them because it is a public space, and if they're harsh to them they can even make more trouble for the crew. That's why they alow them to come closer in between shoots. I personally don't mind the pics, I love seeing them...but only when the paps are far, far away.
There was no way that there's not going to be any pictures, but on Thursday they were too close. It was a big mess, and they failed big time.
They misjudged the situation and mess occurred. They managed to control it just fine after the first day.
I feel so sorry for Rob.

We've pretty much seen the whole movie now, except for the love scene. Dang paps. I still can't believe they are allowed to take pictures while they're filming.
We are just referring to the amount of photos and how the crew has not done anything to put up any type of barrier so the scenes can be conducted without so much chaos.
The more I watch these videos, the more it becomes apparent that Summit is arranging all of this.

I don't know if Summit or the immediate producers are directly involved in the paps being there but I'm sure they aren't against them being there . I think they want to co-exist as peacefully as possible as they want good public relations and press for their movie.
Since theyare filming a movie about NYC in the streets of NYC, there's really no way to keep everyone out, the best they can do is try to keep everyone safe.

Is Summit so desperate to give this film exposure that they will stop at nothing, including making RP uncomfortable to do it? It is just not fun anymore and honestly, once filming is done, people will go onto the next thing and RM will be a dim memory until at least Feb.
Yes, it is probably really annoying and intrusive, but Rob is a professional and seems to be doing a great job based on what I have seen so far. The pics last night show him smiling and the day before he was smiling.
I do feel for him in a way, but he is an actor who has hit mega stardom and he is aware of that. This is just part of the process for him. He will be fine.
Do we really think that this movie is going to be on everyones mind after they finish shooting? They could easily just promote it before hand (which they will do) and fans fo Rob will go anyway.
I think it is funny though that we don't get any photos at all from the Twilight sets, with the exception of Italy, but that couldn't be helped.
But for some CONVENIENT reason, we get footage EVERY day from this film. It is obvious to me that Summit is arranging all of this exposure.
Pisses me off. They are selling Rob like a piece of meat.
I know you are not supposed to bite the hand that feeds you, but he needs to get away from them ASAP.

Regarding Summit's decision to allow the papps to be there, I feel this could backfire on them. There is something called OVER Exposure and there will come a point (and they have probably 4 weeks more shooting) that enough is enough. I can NOT believe that Rob is just ok with it all, but I don't he does not have much of a choice. The man has 6 bodyguards at all times and he is terrified. He obviously wants the film to succeed, but how can it succeed when he can't even concentrate on these very emotional scenes. Just seems counter productive and takes away from the quality of the perfomances and the film.
I remember an interview with Rob in Canne and he said he wanted to be finished with the Twilight movies so he could move beyond Summit. I am sure he feels more and more like that with every passing day.
Don't you think perhaps that Rob can exercise some control and get Summit to give him some room and insulation? I think that his fans would understand and not look at it as a snub.
Let's hope that the powers that be get enlightened and protect their #1 investment.
I truly would not like to see Rob or any of the actors to develop into only a "pap star". Sometimes this type of publicity can backfire.
there are other web sites which refused to post stalking pics and videos, they only post official interviews and news .. maybe this is the way how to stop this obsessive, stalking and dangerous attitude toward Rob. all this attention can really destroy him and he doesnt look comfortable with it at all.

Movies that are being filmed in a city like New York always have crowds, and paps, but because this one has Rob in it the crowd is bigger and there's more paps. There's always a lot of pictures from shooting in general, but we are aware of Remember me because of Rob...Angelina Jolie is shooting a movie outdoors and there's a ton of pictures on line.
It's an open area, they can't prevent them to come. Also they can't hide locations, twitter...twitter is the evil.
Once an information is out by one person, the chain of twitters eventually spreads.
I agree with crew not doing their job. I've mentioned it already, they are just too close. I was so surprised how close they are. It looks really chaotic.
We can't do anythig about it, but the crew has to...they obviously failed. They probably never had an experience of this intensity. I really hate the paps...I always remember what they did to Kristen and what they were saying to her. Something has to be done with the law...they have power and they know it.
You've mentioned over exposure in comment below....I agree that can happen..but we as Twilight fans are more informed about this then regular people. To them he is still not unknown, but fresh.
I genuenly think even after this stressful day of shooting that he is enjoying himself. Yes, I was sickned with the video, and I usually don't watch them. But I also think there were good days also..and he has a chanse to work with different directors and damn good actors. To him I think it means a lot.
and I actually have that done to me a few times with a 5 year old and my work.
and sometimes, when I see those paparazzi videos of rob, i get kinda embarrassed. it must be so hard to even do the simlpest things, ya know?

On a better note, i love his facial expressions with his eyebrows. when he raises them like 'oh' or 'huh' he uses his eyebrows alot and i love it, its such a cute characteristic he has.

Did anyone see the whole video?? It was so chaotic. The director and the actors can't even get a shot in because of all the bystanders. And poor Rob, he couldn't even lift his head until they actually started filming the movie. :(

Trust me, I have worked security for commercial and movie sets before, it is not that difficult.
Granted I am an officer in a small southern town and it was not to this grand of a scale, but good Lord it is not rocket science people.
But, I do agree with you, the set needs more security coverage. And the fans and paparazzi need to just have more respect and actually let the actors do their job. Ugh, I hate paparazzi. Some are okay, but others completely harass famous people. it's really terrible. :(
And I agree that the officers have better things to do, but if they hire about 20 of them to work off duty, that is their official job for that time period and they work for the movie set. They don't answer calls or anything. It just seems to me that this would be a simple solution to the problem.
But of course Summit doesn't want a simple solution.
well, obviously us NMM girls should just go to NY and kidnap him. THEN, the problem would be solved. LMAO!
If they really needed extra PD they could request it, but why would they, seems like Summit enjoys the circus,lol!

paparazzi's are a total bunch of a**holes, they were already being given the chance to get pics of rob and they still get so disrespectful and so nasty towards rob and the rest of the crew !!
i do hope rob will be able to concentrate on his role for the rest of the filming of the movie in case this madness continues on. and i'm pretty sure rob will rise above this all :))
or maybe i'll just choose them all.
