This goes to all vamp girls, wolf girls, switzes, and EVERYBODY else!! I dont know where to post this in order for you guys to read it.. I hope you come across this as it is very important. Ive been noticing that a lot of you have been here dissing either one cast member or more.. that is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!! Just last night I logged on and read, in the DS post where he was tweeting about Taylor, comments where wolf girls called Rob "stupid" and called him stupid once again when they reffered to his hand-through-the-hair-thing... then I went on to read vamp girls saying where's Rob and Oh DS has a "hard-on for Tay" and just asking for Robsten and what not!!! You guys were being extremely disrespctful and I found the need to adress you guys to let you know that is NOT acceptable!! You guys would make my job SO much easier if you could all just be RESPECTFUL.. I wouldnt have to go editing and deleting comments that are not appropriate!! As a mod, yes I DO take my job seriously and with great pride because Im SO thankful for Will for creating these amazing sites where a second family has been formed and I will NOT allow you guys to mess this up... mess HIS sites with hateful and disrespectful comments!! I will not allow you guys to give Will's sites a bad rep. Now, Im adressing those who have been doing this.. if the shoe fits... Will and now, LMC, have been working REALLY hard bringing us updates and posting in order to satisfy our thirst (no pun intended) of all things Twilight and you guys have to show more respect. The sites were created to post our opinions, to inform us, to allow us to meet and keep friends. This bashing SERIOUSLY needs to STOP!! If you guys have nothing good to say or if you dont like ROB, TAY, KSTEW or any other cast member, then PLEASE dont say anything OR go to HGE and bash and vent all your frustations as they have become to be known as such!! I've always said that if the Cullens and the Wolves were able to coexist, make a treaty, make a truce, unite, and in the end, become a huge family, why cant WE all do the same? Lets go back to how the sites were in the beginning and have fun, post opinions, meet people BUT no trashing ppl, including cast members OR posters, k? There.. long rant but it was needed... thx you guys... and lets continue being this HUGE, LOVEABLE Twilight Family that is full of differences but in the end is united by ONE thing, our LOVE for the Saga!!

Today was a sad day for me because I realized I am getting to the point where I don't enjoy coming on to the site anymore. I feel like I should be able to state an opinion without being called a hater. Disagreeing with someone does not make me a hater. And for those that don't agree with me, I would appreciate it if it was done in a nice way. Or better yet, just keep going past my comment.
There are a certain few on here that go ballistic if you don't share their opinion. It's getting really old.
And because there are some posters on here who are disappointed with Rob's tweet, that does not make them haters either!!!
I know how to disagree gracefully. I don't call someone a hater because they see something differently from me.
This used to be the first place I went to as soon as I got on the internet. Now it's not. Damn it! I want my site back!!

It's not so much the GF's that bother me. I know they usually are trying to start stuff. It's the few regulars on here that seem to think they run the site and everyone must agree with them. I saw what you said about Rob's tweet. snshyne said something similar and a lot of crap was started after that. Like you, she is a huge Robward fan. But all of a sudden, she became a Rob hater. I don't get people's logic.
It's called an opinon people! Disagree if you must, but do it nicely. There's no need for name calling.

it's been hard for me to admit it too, but i've told the girls on twitter i just don't like coming on here as much anymore either. the humor and fun has been lost. it's now all snarky (whether it's hating on certain people/their characters, long-winded comments on irrelevant issues which have nothing to do with the post, or just plain whining "where is ---- blah blah blah..."
i left work in a bitter mood and it should have been the exact opposite considering we had Rob tweet us! if it wasn't because i'd miss all of you who i keep in touch with daily on twitter or previously from here, i'd have stopped logging on.

anyway, i just wanted to say hello! i was MIA in twitterverse for a while bc of a big exam i had to pass, but it's all over and it's just work work work! bah!
Let me start off by saying I've missed you too. I hope you did well on your exam and I know what you mean about work. Busy, busy!
I figured you would be the one person who would know exactly who I'm talking about. It all started with Comic Con. At least for me. After that, I started feeling like this wasn't the site that I fell in love with. And I find myself coming on here less and less. I miss my twi-friends so much. Thankfully, I can drop on to Twitter and say hi to most of you.
Exactly my point on the not praising Rob 24/7. He's not a perfect person. He's going to do things that we find disappointing or things that we don't expect him to do. I'm not going to get on here and say something that I don't believe in just so a few die-hards don't get so upset. I'd rather not comment at all. That doesn't mean we stop loving who Rob is. And I'm not going to apologize to those people who think you're supposed to hate Taylor because you love Rob. I adore that kid. I think he's awesome.
I hope those people read these comments and it sinks in. I really do. I don't want to lose something that has become such a big part of my life.

What is going to happen is that all the mods are going to crack down on moderating. Not sure if any of you a remember a couple months ago when we ALL moderated like CRAZY. There were a lot of deleted comments and a lot of blocked accounts. Which is something we do not want to do - but it will be done if need be.
If you don't like an actor/actress thats is your choice. And you can certainly express your own opinion. But have some respect and us some CLASS while making a post. Bc if you don't - its a one way trip to the Blocking Train.

I completely agree with the posts about the haters. I know we're all getting a little grumpy in anticipation of New Moon, but that's no reason to hate. These actors and actresses (especially Rob and Kristen) are living their lives under a microscope and putting up with A LOT of crap to bring this story that we love so much to life. They don't deserve the hate. We don't know them and can't pretend to understand where they're coming from. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am nothing but VERY grateful that they are doing their work beautifully and committing to it so fully. So thanks to all those Twilight fans who haven't lost sight of what's important... the beautiful story of Edward, Bella, Jacob and all the rest.

I feel that Rob has put in his time and paid his dues to the Twilight fan base. Look at all he had to put up with while filming Remember Me.
You have to fair about it. All I keep hearing is that New Moon is Taylor's movie. We then let him promote the hell out of it them, cuz I'm sure Rob will have to work overtime to promote Eclipse and BD.
Rob (and Kristen) have been thrust into a spotlight for the past several months and I think the glare of that spotlight has started to get to them. We don't know what is happening to them, only what we are told in promoting the movies. It is not uncommon for celebrities to be stalked, screamed at (like obscenities) and even death threats from crazies and psychos.
At the start of this Twilight movie they were happy-go-lucky kids. They embraced their fans, chatted to the media but were still a little reluctant, a bit shy. That's just Rob and Kristen's natural personalities, I think.
Let's appreciate Taylor, Rob, and Kristen for who they are and the great job they are doing. I am really happy with all their contributions to the Twilight saga that I love.
When they signed for Twilight they also signed for the next 2 movies, should Summit decide it was in their interest to do them.
Look at Rachelle. What happened to her was a warning to all the other actors--Summit is in control, they can make or break anybody, don't mess with what is in your contract==they have better lawyers.

However, they are not. But I am not going to fault them for that. Yes, they chose these careers, but that doesn't mean that they have to like the price of fame. They signed on to do an indie film, with no idea of how widespread and fanatical the fan base was. So, their intentions were not to get uber famous. I think all of this caught them completely by surprise.
I do miss the days of them doing interviews, laughing and being carefree. But let's be honest. That is not a reality for them anymore. I am for one a Robsten believer, wholeheartedly. They just want to be together and be happy. But for whatever reason, they can't be in public. I blame Summit. That's just my opinion.
I think that the ever present and irritating paparrazzi, coupled with the percentage of psycho fans out there, to the pressure for them to get their relationship on the downlow is enough to make anyone a little hesitant and nervous about being in the spotlight. So they, for obvious reasons, shy away from it.
The thing that drew me to being fans of Rob and Kristen, separately, was there down to earthness and self deprecation, their "I don't give a sh*t" attitude. Now, I feel that they are getting criticized more for it then complimented, like they used to.
The days of them being fun loving and carefree in the public are probably over just because that is the way things are. Hollywood is a b&*ch, but at least they are trying to salvage some type of a normal life by staying private and not revealing too much.
So long story short, I think that all I have said above factors into why Rob left a short and sweet tweet!!! And I love it and will not sit back in judgment of it.
The fans wouldn't be less of course, but I think a lot calmer and easy going - whcih would help him. Papz would be still annoying, but that's just part of his buissness.
I thought about the tweet a little, and with a bit of distance, it didn't seem that impolite anymore. I think it's just the part "first and last tweet", that made some people (me including) a little moody.
I still don't think he should get his own twitter (all the Robsten questions would go on his nerves too much), but why not guest tweeting from Peters, once again?

I have posted som many comments numerous times saying a similar thing to you... i mean I just don't understand why these people take twilight seriously in that sense, like their dedication to their fav characters, thats fine, im sure stephanie wanted her readers to take sides but that doesn't excuse some readers actions, some people are so damn rude... I just find it really hard to grasp what they will achieve... by them saying mean things about Taylor it doesn't mean Rob will immediatly fall in love them because he apparently loves Kristen and wants Taylor out the way... non of these rumours are true for example... kristen is not dating Rob or Taylor... and neither of them are secretly in love with each other, and they're not scared to come out of what ever their hiding under BECAUSE ITS ALL LIES... as Edward says in new moon, something along these lines LOL " Why is it so easy for you to believe the lies but not the truth?!" SERIOUSLY PEOPLE by you telling Kristen for example that she has to date Rob because Taylor like his character Jacob should stay on the sidelines and be the best friend... because firstly ITS NON OF OUR BUSINESS... secondly... NOBODY GAVE US THE RIGHT TO SAY THAT TO THEM... WE'RE NOT DICTATORS OF THEIR LIVES... thirdly... HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF ROB SAID TO US THAT WE CAN'T SUPPORT TAYLOR BECAUSE HE DOESN'T LIKE HIM AND BECAUSE HE THINKS HES STUPID???

ALSO... i think some people take their fandom reallllly waaay too far, its really disrespectful, I find it really rude and I'm team Switzerland... SO i love both Jacob and Edward and I equally love Rob and Taylor and I just get really worked up at some people who just because they dislike Jacob criticise Taylor for it, and I think in these new moon clips that were shown to us his acting has improved so much that he does not deserve some comments from people, obv every1 is entitled to their own opinion i'm not discouraging that AT ALL, i just don't like the way they voice them and the way they go about them, because it could be such a confidence knocker for any of the actors if they read them, because they are really harsh...
BUT aaaaannnnyyyywaaaayyys I can go on for days and weeks about this, but i'm not going to. =] I just wanted to voice my opinion on this again as its come up again... so ok that concludes my rant =]
Cheer up love, just so you know the "SANE" twilighters are here and always will be. I know it can be frustrating but know that there are ppl who appreciate this site and who still come here faitfully and still make wonderful comments even in the form of seriousness and jokingness. Im a team edward but in truth i drool over every post whether its the wolves or the vamps or the volturi, i was excited about ever single actor/character. the entire series just makes me that way and know that i am 1000% appreciative of you, LM, and Wills work. Little Ashes is the one about Salvador Dalí (Robert Pattinson), Luis Buñuel (Matthew McNulty), Federico García Lorca (Javier Beltrán) and Magdalena (Marina Gatell), their lives as artists, writers, etc, and the whole love triangle thing. I'd say it'd be similar to Frida (an artist played by Salma Hayek who had a crippling injury and married an older man, also an artist and who had many affairs).
And yeah... I'm still not going to get a twitter even tho more twi-stars and twi-fans are getting on it. I barely have time to keep up with facebook and here! :)
