even though all that very graphic stuff happens, they cannot stop making breaking dawn. It will make a very large amount of teenage girls angry. and they got their way fighting for taylor lautner to play jacob didn't they? what makes anyone question if they wouldnt do it again? its all about the fans!!!!!!

I also agree. This was a awesome ending to the never ending fantasy that SM created. It also sums up everyone's feelings and emotions and reason for them. Bella always felt that Jacob needed to be there, be close to her and in the last book we see why. To imprint on Nessie explains a lot. He was drawn to her even before her birth, I mean how amazing and curious is that? Plus, the whole defeat the all powerful thinking Royal Vampires. I just loved that part. To show that you have have to be the biggest player on the field to win the game. That in itself says a lot about life everywhere. Well, I will be very disappointed if they do not finish out the saga. I beg and plea that they do and give it all the justice that is do deserved.

OMG!!!! BREAKING DAWN HAS 2 BE A MOVVIIIEEE!!! ^^ it won't make sense if Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse are going 2 be a movie and they just stop at Breaking dawn!!!! *pouts* and sure..it will be hard 2 make it at PG-13 standered but i wouldn't care if it was R!! i'll watch it anyway!! i just can't wait until New Moon and one more thing......................MAKE BREAKING DAWN A FREAKING GREAT MOVIE!!! This HAS to be a movie. A lot of the Twilighters who read the book can handle seeing it in a movie. Of course Edward and Bella were gonna get it on SOMEDAY. Stephanie Meyer waited a lot longer for that than I thought she would. So Twilighters - are we ready? HELL YES!!!

Look at the third book they rip vampires apart!! Edward rips Victoria's head off so why it there a problem with the 4th book?? it's no worse i dont see it being that difficult at all only that when bella turns she's a totally different person(look) so will kristen stewart actually play the part after she turns?? and the baby/vampire will it be mechanical like the baby in dawn of the dead?? that could work!!!oh well it was my favorite book of the series so i'll be waiting for it to come out!!!

i dont care if the edit half. i dont care if its not exactly proportionate. and i dont CARE if they take 4 or even 5 years to make it. but i do care that it HAS TO BE MADE!!!! Breaking Dawn is the final piece of the puzzle to the twilight saga. and to lose the last piece of a puzzle, why we all would just go INSANE!!! IM NOT LYING PEOPLE WILL GO CRAZY!!!! they have to make it into a movie, how can you do the first 3 and than leave it like that. So what if they have to give it a different rating it is a vampire movie after all theres bond to be blood there somewhere. If they dont make it I will be really disappointed

I wonder whether Summit Entertainment and Stephanie Meyer have seriously considered the vast genre of readers that her books have appealed too. I understand the books have been directed at the teenage genre, however it is plain to see it has gone much further than that.

I say this, in response to the debate about the making of Breaking Dawn as a movie.
As a person in my 30's and not an avid reader at any stretch I managed to read these books in four days. I absolutely loved them.

I was quite disappointed that BD wasn't as descriptive in the "racier" parts and the birth of Renesmee. (I'm sure readers patiently await these parts) Being the last book of the series (at this stage) I would have thought that they might have been, with all the other climactic action. But I understand.

However, it would be a greater disappointment not to have them included in the movie Breaking Dawn (if and when it is released) and New Moon and Eclipse also. Movies are obviously so much more a visual thing than an imaginative thing.

And to also consider cutting parts of the books out of the movie to make it a shorter movie experience would be disastrous. Readers almost always say the book is better than the movie. And I feel this way about all FOUR books and their transformation to movie...dont tear them to shreds.
Some of the most popular movies in history have been over three hours in length (and you can google that). Surely the producers, writers and Stephanie understand that fans would be prepared to sit for some time to see their favourite book portrayed in full.

Movie creation has come so far and there have been more complicated movies made than BD would be to make. I say put the dollars in and reap the rewards.

More than anything I would like to see them make a theatre version and a Special Extended Uncut version. Make the full movie, make three parts on three discs if you have to, make them racy and a bit gory, make them for what each one is and CAN be, give it an R rating....and then cut them down for theatre purposes to a lower rating. I know I would be prepared to see it in theatre and I would be first to line up to buy the extended uncut as well. I don't know if they will or have considered this but surely its worth while.

Every time I watch Twilight I keeping wishing each scene would go longer than it did the time before.

i think dat cullen wannabe1 is rite that if the movie is rated r that we wouldnt be able to see it i am also 12 and my mom is so uptight she wouldnt let me go see it. Um.. i dnt always get my way but a way to make the movie great if it's pg 13, they can cut down the bloody scene of renesmee's birth and the part where dey do it they dnt have to show every detail of it but the rest yes. You can also cut out the scenes and put it on theb onus disk if the dvd comes out..... so yea i hope dey make it into a movie

I totally agree with you. If they are old enough to read it then watching it sould not be a problem. I will be very upset if they do not make Breaking Dawn a movie and if they make it with a PG-13 Rating it won't be any good. I hope these people come to their senses. I know how it was when I was reading the books, I could just imagine everything that was going on, so I know all of the teenagers were doing the exact same thing, these days most teenagers know more than they need to know so whats the difference in reading it and watching it. I have a 10 year old soon to be sister-in-law that was aloud to read the book and I'll be damn if she won't see the movie, Her mom lets her do what she wants, and trust me she knows way more than she should. I don't like the idea of her reading the book but if her mother let her than there is noting I can say. The child has been aloud to watch Rated R movies since the time she was 5. The world is different these days so if Breaking Dawn has to be Rated R then let it be.

I plan on boycotting the film if it is not an R rated movie. This is bull and it's just too bad that the pg movie goers will have to have their parents go with them. Most young kids I saw at the opening night of Twilight had their parents with them so what difference does it make. If you want to make an authentic movie that does justice to the book and to the story it must be an R rated movie and that is that. I think it's utterly absurd to try to tone down the gore... if it wasn't intended then why did Stephanie Meyer write it that way? And furthermore, I think that the way in which she wrote the birth scene as well as the sex scenes in general are vary vague. Please for the love of God, and the Cullens, don't tell me that they will do some crap about skipping over that whole section. If so then I will not even waste my time or money going to see it.

You make a good point, I think it depends on the individual too, not just age. My daughter just turned 12 when she read them and loved them, even BD, BUT she is very mature for her age. She wants to be OB and deliver babies and is not squeamish at all. So, I would say, it is the parents' responsibility to judge whether this content is appropriate for your children. And remember, it will be years before it would be released, kids will grow and mature by then:)

You know, there are numerous "thriller" movies that are out with much much MUCH worse gory stuff that teenagers watch every weekend one comes out, not to mention crude comedies with curse words up to the ceiling. What really is the difference? The others are the same thing over and over again with different characters, but the Twilight series brings something new and better to the table, and if you don't put them all out, then it is just not whole. Bella and Edward's relationship at the end of BD is complete... and if it ends in Eclipse, it's not. They need Renessmee and all the "gory" issues to keep what they have together. So. Yes. Make Breaking Dawn.. even if it takes 2 movies or a really really long movie. I watched Titanic's 3 plus hours. I KNOW I CAN SIT through for Twilight.

i really hope the do make breaking dawn into a movie. i agree with those of you who said its your favourite because i'd probably say it's my favourite too. twilight was such a good series and there were so many questions that would be left un-answered if there was not a breaking dawn movie.
for example : would charlie approve of edward and bella getting married, would bella finally become a vampire, and also, would bella get what she wants from edward.
and i also agree with kirra. if they make it r-rated (which personally i have no clue means - as im not from america, im guessing by some of these comments its over-18s?) people under 18 will just watch it illegally. and to be honest, theres nothing really that shocking in the book that would scare anyone, so in my opinion i dont think they should make it R rated (or an 18 in the uk.)
and they could always make it 3 films? i know that would cost alot of money and time but it would solve the problem of switching from bella to jacob and then back to bella. just a thought.
