Looking back, it would have been a hugh mistake to not have Taylor Lautner play Jacob Black in New Moon. Eclipse without Rachelle LaFeuvre is definitely that kind of a mistake. -Midnight Sun in Norway-

yeah i agree! they cant just suddenly replace TAYLOR with someone else! it just wont be right. even though, yeah, other people would make a better Jacob...but Taylor already got the part and they just shouldn't replace him!

I was watching 10,000 BC tonight. I'd never seen Steven Strait before, but kept thinking, "this guy would be PERFECT to play Jacob. So, I looked up Strait, and found this! They'd be nuts not to cast him. Lautner is totally wrong for Jacob in the other movies. He's just too young, too short, and too boyish. He couldn't possibly be believable. I didn't really think he was right in the first movie, honestly.
