It was SO much better that they left the audience hanging for more. And Rachel and Ryan were actually going out so easier for them to make out on stage. Whereas last years Briana and Robert H kissed and then the crowd were much more silent(with disappointment at the lame copy cats probably). I think its great how Rob and Kris planned it and they did very well!! Who said they couldnt act!? :D
You need to get a hobby or something. I mean, look at yourself. You are over analyzing a fake kiss at the Mtv movie awards between two horrible actors.

What twilight is, from what I've seen, is repacking vampires into something more kid/tween friendly that won't offend as many people as the grittiness of the genre traditionally contains. Heaven help this author if they attempt werewolves in a similar fashion.

So these arent traditional Vampires! Vampires are fictional, which means we can make them whatever we want to make them! Just because these Vampires are different to a lot of others!
A few laws of Vampire stories.
Sunlight kills them. In best case scenario, they become weaker.
They can not enter a house un-invited.
Water causes them pain, and weakens them. If filled with certain herbs, or poisoned, they may enter it.
Wooden Stake kills them, if driven through heart.
Silver is the most effective metal against them(this applies to many creatures of the night).
They can ONLY feast on the blood of a living human. Exception: Flandre Scarlet from Touhou project games, because she devours human's entirely, or seperate organs.
Upon draining blood, the human becomes their minion/Vampire. Exception: Remilia Scarlet from Touhou project games, because she does not devour enough to convert the human, and she gets more on her dress, then in her mouth.

The New Moon trailer was unbelievable! Bravo Chris Weitz! I really felt that he respected the book New Moon and us fans. I absolutely cannot wait for November 20th, 2009. Can I say BLOCKBUSTER!!! ????
I was so proud of the way that Rob, Kristen and the cast accepted the awards. They were so down to earth and humble. They made the rest of those in attendance look like posers. Kristen really had a "Bella" moment when she dropped her award. Very endearing. I may be partial, but the Twilight awards and highlights really ruled the MTV Movie Awards. Now they know for sure how much their fans adore them!!!

Just because some of us voted for twilight does'nt mean we don't know good actresses and movies or expand our picks.. I personally love independent and watch few good blockbuster movies in theaters.. I prefer sundance, IFc ane stuff like that... twilight deserve every adward because it was the underdog because so many haters and critics critized the movie saying it won't amount to anything, and then it did good
at the box office and then they started kissing azz...
Also, I really don't think freda pinto should have won.. what did she do in slumdog...if they wanted to give the actors awards from slumdog, give it to the kids...the kids are really poor, haven't been to acting school and totally rock that movie, and both of the older leads really didn't do that much work..this
I have always found it endearing when Actors & Actresses, who entertain us to no end on screen, are so shy in interviews and award shows, it's so.... ironical! ;) Is that a word?

I would just like to say that I hated Slumdog and the Reader and I am not a teen. who cares if the oscar committee picked them to win...if i was an actress i would prefer the fans to pic not a selected group of peoples opinions.

Put Twilight up against actual vampire books, like Dracula, for gods sake, even Interview with a Vampire. What's sensual about having your arm bitten?), or excuse me, biting the arm of some animal because they're vegitarians...
The movie and the book wanted to be dark and scary. Wishful thinking if you will.
But it's not. It's a woman's wet dream, and shouldn't be on the shelf really. Go read some REAL literature and go watch a REAL movie please. There's enough fanfiction in the world, and enough fanvids. :|

Why? Because you implied it wouldn't have won otherwise.
It shouldn't have. Slumdog Millionaire is considered an outstanding movie, but I wouldn't have expected it to win the MTV Movie Awards. The Dark Knight, however, that should've won.
I know it's mostly teenagers and those in their early 20s that vote, but I guess this also means that it's also mostly females. I'm certain the male demographic voted for The Dark Knight.
I realize this is stereotypical, but everyone "generalizes" so I'm not concerned about being pc. I'm sure you fans here could care less what others that don't agree Twilight is awesome think and may even post something about how much we suck b/c we don't. (That's fine, since I doubt we'll ever read anything past our own comments.) I'm sure the Twlight series will make a ton of money off you and the over-paid actors will thank you for it. (Of course, all the big actors are overpaid.)
But still, you have to realize one thing: Miley fans are apparently more powerful than Twilight fans. You might want to get on that.

Best fight? Poorly choreographed and not very interesting.

Best male and female performance? No both were pretty bad, not believable at all (but you could blame that on the garbage writing.)

I don't really care about the Best Fight Scene, or even best talent (although I don't agree) but there was NOTHING better than Twilight?

On to my true point though. This film was nothing more then a cash in. It was made to draw the money of those lonely girls who drag their 'boyfriends' there and sucks your money up leaving you with only a hole in your wallet and eventually your memory about the film because nobody cares about it. Will this film be discussed a month later? How about a year? 5 years? Dark Knight and Slumdog will, but I don't see this. It will never stand up to the works of Stanley Kubrick or Stephen Spielberg. This was a joke MTV. I don't expect much though, after all, you aren't taken seriously by any media on the planet. Enjoy your false reward Twilight. But you don't deserve any attention. The next girl love flick will easily make you forgetable.

Seriously though, Best Picture? Epic stuff like Dark Knight, Iron Man and Star Trek just gets glossed over by some unknown chick with an abusive, clingy, *SPARKLY* bloodsucker of a boyfriend? MTV is just bull****...
but it was so mediocre und the performances were sooo bad it was a punch in the face for all those people who didnt watch the movie out of sheer horniness for a dude named Robert Pattinson...
in the end all i can say is that this movie won five very undeserved awards... and it will happen again as long as there are girls/boys who fall for such obvious rip offs just because they wanna see a good looking actor/actress
Clearly, MTV have avoided watching any of the other superior movies which came out around the same time and remain devoted in going along with whatever happens to be popular at the moment. Twilight wasn't an okay movie and the acting was good enough to keep me entertained, but to call it breakthrough or revolutionary shows that these reviewers know dick about good movies..... It might just deserve the Kiss Award though.
