I really would agree, (even though I didn't see him reflecting anything --he isn't a mirror, ((and his skin isn't glass and cut to be like a crystal, with all those sharp angles)) nor did I seem him looking like Tinker Bell got ahold of him; I just saw him glowing, really...like tiny rays of shivering, muted light would hover ever-so-slightly around his skin, growing dimmer or brighter depending on what parts of his skin faced the sun; like the sunlight couldn't even touch his skin, just get very close and build up there.) but it doesn't seem to me like a lot of Miss Meyer's visual descriptions (or character portrayals, if I may be so bold) were followed very carefully, and with what technology can do these days..?? there's no excuse! oh wellll.

i agree it should be overdone exactly for that reason too...i can think of 2 other reasons y it should be over done (with out sound effects)... it make sence in the book these two other reasons maybe not so much with the movies.....but just to try and stay more with the books i guess....

reason 2: in the first book when edward is trying to locate bella in Port A. from those guys....he really really wants to go and find her but is really afraid of even light reflecting off his skin.....if it was subtle then he would have risked following her scent thru the shadows.

and reason 3: WHEN breaking dawn is a movie...and they on thier honeymoon...they wouldn't need a privite island in the middle of nowhere if it was subtle in my opinion. (Besides the fact they have the money to buy an island)

they should just save a little extra so eventually it can be EVEN MORE spectacular thru bellas NEW eyes as a vampire.....

sorry ...i got carried away....and yes i refuse to believe in anything else besides THERE WILL BE A BREAKING DAWN MOVIE

i'm thinking that mabye the opening scene in the book....bella's dream..where she is old and he IS already in the sunlight...could be how they plan to make edward sparkle for us in the movie......i have no idea ofcourse....just a thought....i think they really should included bella's dreams in the movies....makes bella that much more special her dreams r usually close to to what will happen.....
